The media could not be loaded. got this microphone to use for my podcast im starting! so far so good , good quality. i do think the noise cancellation could be better tho or maybe it’s me lol , but the mute button works precisely! for the most part you just have to stay close to mic and just figure it out for you. i’m so glad i have mine! i feel so professional lol! ... show more

I bought this microphone for the sporadic occasions where I like to record myself. Mainly I use this for personal commentary and leaving myself notes. The audio quality is not good unless you are *on top* of the microphone (within 6 inches). It doesn't seem to have any drivers or applications, meaning you just fall back on what Windows tries to give you. Unfortunately, the audio drivers Windows uses for it don't allow you to boost the gain at all to try and compensate for the poor reception. It's decent if your setup is going to have you right on top of your microphone or if you have a boom to mount it on. But if you're just using the stand it ships with and situating it in a way where your mouse won't knock it across the room, you're probably using the thing in the 12-18" range and it just will not pick up your voice *at all*. If you already have a boom mounted, I'm sure this thing is great. But you basically have to eat the microphone for it to hear you. Now, it's *really* cool that the microphone has a line-in with zero latency, and the audio jack can give you immediate audio levels if you plug in a pair of headphones. Supposedly Windows can push audio through the jack, but I never managed to get that to work. Anybody who has tried to listen to *themselves* while also trying to record their voice for any significant amount of time knows how it is basically impossible to monitor your own audio...so this cool feature is more of a hindrance than a help. But it's there. I would *not* recommend this product. I'm not completely unhappy with it, but I also never really want to use it and fall back on an old Creative USB headset I've had forever because it's just reliable. ... show more

    • NOT FOR BAND PRACTICE!
We tried this for a better band practice recording than just our phones but all you could hear was a hiss. I would imagine if you're using it for podcasts or something where you're just talking, it should be fine. It's well built (heavy) and the reverb control makes your voice sound pretty cool. Unfortunately I had to take it back because it didn't work for our purpose though. ... show more

    • Adapter didn't work
After talking to customer service for a while I kept telling them the adapter wasn't working and a replacement was not sent. so I had to go to an apple store and buy an adapter and then it finally worked. So just know if it doesn't work on your iPad or phone try buying a separate adapter.
