  • A good eyepiece at a great price!
I bought the 6mm eyepiece for high power viewing, make sure you specify the focal length that you want! (there are multiple choices!) I bought this because I don't like using a narrow field eyepiece that is hard to look through! This eyepiece looks a lot like the SvBony version. This eyepiece seems well built, has a wide field of view and good eye relief meaning easy to look through! The image quality is good and the contrast is good enough to make the belts of Jupiter stand out. I am happy with it. It is longer and a bit heavier than a typical small 6mm eyepiece, but my smallest, lightweight scope and mount had no trouble using it. No issues were seen with it, highly recommended! ... show more

  • Excellent value for money, treat with care.
I don't know what they mean by asking about "thickness" but this is a good eyepiece. Great eye relief, making for comfortable viewing. Optically, it seems to be precisely made because a carefully focused image is quite sharp. I think it is inexpensive because the lenses in it are made of some sort of polymer (plastic) so you will have to be very careful to not get them dusty or soiled in any way. Any attempt to clean it would likely scratch the surfaces badly and degrade the performance. But the price can't be beat for the optical quality. Just be very careful with it! ... show more

  • End the search for a budget eyepiece!
Size: 15mm
This was my first eyepiece I purchased after using 10mm and 25mm eyepieces that came with a Celestron 114az Newtonian reflector I recently purchased. I am not experienced enough to say whether this is a great eyepiece alone. I will say that it is a lot better than what came with the telescope. (I also wanted this so the kids would not have much difficulty viewing objects) With observing conditions ranging from fair to good double stars seem to resolve slightly better. Clusters also seem more defined and some nebulas became visible. I have moderate light pollution and before observing I did NOT let my eyesight adjust. I do recommend longer eyecups to keep peripheral vision dark with long eye relief pieces but that’s just personal preference Wide angle and eye relief are as advertised so for me as a newbie I can say I’m very pleased with this eyepiece. ... show more

  • They have a false advertisement the title is I wouldn't buy nothing from them again
Size: 20mm
My telescope has default when you tighten it it doesn't stand in the place that you tighten it to me fmovies it's like good part is defected I'm not trying to complain but it's been a good money for it I don't know I just feel robbed and I can't find parts for. Like I said they only sent me one telescope lens when they advertise for for $29 like I said. And I would never want another from them again wasted money and if you going if you go into the website you'll see it for yourself thank you and have a pleasant day ... show more

  • Great for 1st upgrade eyepiece
Size: 15mm
The eyepiece are a small step up from the original eyepiece that came with the telescope. Better view, better quality, and great for the price. Happy with the purchase

  • Very cost effective eyepiece
For the price, this is an excellent planetary eyepiece that rivals the often-suggested SVBONY redline. It offers excellent viewing, with a wide field of view and long eye relief that allows you to pull back a bit without having your eye directly on it.

  • Be careful, the title is deceiving.
Size: 15mm
I chose the "MEOPTEX 1.25" 6mm 9mm 15mm 20mm 66-Degree Ultra Wide Angle Eyepiece for Telescope (15mm)" because of the price point, as I am a novice and just beginning. I thought this was a set of eye pieces (6mm, 9mm, 15mm, 20mm) but after I only received the 15mm eyepiece, with the picture showing all 4 eyepieces and the title that's what I thought I was buying. I do see the "(15mm)" at the very end of the title but didn't think anything of it when I purchased. I would have bought a better known brand if I knew it was only for a single eyepiece. That being said, the single 15mm eyepiece that I did receive seems to be good quality and fits well. I have not had a chance to do any star gazing with it yet nor do I have enough experience to actually say how good it is when looking at objects in space, so I will leave that portion to someone else. ... show more
