Considering there are no instructions and no firm anchor points, this is quite a genius invention. I managed to set it up solo by assembling the pole pieces and then standing on the bed to attach the corner joints. By the time I put the mosquito net over it, I was pretty nauseous from “motion sickness”. It took only about 30 minutes to set up the frame. But the double layer netting (from a different seller) arrived in a bundle, again with zero guidance, as to which was inside or outside. So I’m adding info on the netting in case it helps. There are 4 satin ties at the corners. and on the other side there are 8 net ties. I assumed the net ties attach to the horizontal poles and the satin ribbons on the other side are for decoration only because you can’t tie them to the poles. That took over an hour to set up over the frame because I started with the satin corner ties on the inside and had to turn the yards and yards of netting to the other side, again walking around on top of the bed. However the finished assemblage is beautiful. Just like the sale photos. Good luck with the assembly and my big tip is to recruit a helper. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Honestly I'm really happy I purchased this. I read so many bad reviews I was really skeptical. I purchased the white as it seemed to have better reviews than the silver, and although it definitely isn't white like the other reviews said, I'm glad I chose that one. I used black netting and curtains over it so the mild teal color wasn't an issue for me. In terms of sturdiness, I'm really not sure what all the negative reviews are about. I did not use any reinforcements on the canopy other than the 2 corner to corner ties that came with my curtains, and I have the king size canopy built on the OUTSIDE of my queen bed, the feet are not held in place or weighed down by anything other than the curtains and with walking through it everyday and an active kitty, it hasn't budged once. I will say it's overpriced for what it is, but if you don't want to buy a whole canopy bed or like me want to utilize your own headboard it's worth it for the aesthetic, im one step closer to having the goth dungeon bedroom of my dreams. Cons: -overpriced - color is not accurate Pros: -stupid cute -sturdy enough for any normal person -assembly was easy and everything came labeled, even had extra parts All in all if you're contemplating buying this for the aesthetic, get it.     • Perfect as a temporary mosquito netting frame

I brought some of my deck plants inside when our deck was being redone and, unbeknownst to us, they harbored mosquitos. After a few days of utter misery, I decided that mosquito netting was the best way to be able to sleep without being bitten up. But how? Well, this frame and some good mosquito netting are proving to be the solution my problem. The frame was easy to set up - in spite of not-so-great instructions. I taped the pipe joins with gaffer's tape because they slipped apart a little too easily. I had to weigh down the "feet" with bricks to keep them in place. It's not terribly sturdy and wobbles easily, so I don't think it would be all that great for a kid's room. I think it's a bit expensive for what it is, but I was truly desperate for a quick solution which it provided. This is a frame for quick, temporary fixes or decorating on a dime. It's not nearly sturdy enough to substitute for a real piece of furniture. It supports the mosquito netting, but I would hesitate to put any heavy material on the frame. Bottom line: It's perfect for what I needed it for, but I think it's fairly pricey for a wobbly metal-pipe frame. $50 would be the right price for this. ... show more

I like that it came in the color I ordered as some of the comments mentioned they didn’t receive the right product. It looks nice with my canopy but the structure isn’t that sturdy and with small children I can see this becoming an issue and I just put it up. It created the canopy feel for me without having to pay for a canopy bed. I don’t know how long it will last but I like how it turned out. Assembly was super easy. ... show more

I loved my head board, and didn’t want to buy new bed just yet b/c there’s nothing wrong with my bed. But I’ve been really wanting a canopy bed for some years. So this was a great alternative for a canopy bed look. I was able to assemble it within 30mins, I was surprised it didn’t require additional weighted support to stay up. And my pieces did not come scuffed or bent, they were in great condition and unused.     • Incorrect pieces/disappointed
It came on time & was nicely packaged. The paper didn’t have much instructions on it. Did review all the pieces as the paper states & one was not correct, which threw off the whole thing of being able at putting it together. Said to email if not all the pieces were correct. To much hassle! No option to just get a replacement piece & no direct contact to speak with a live person, so I requested a refund & sent the entire package back. If they can make sure all the correct prices were in the box I would have given it the full 5 stars. The metal seemed very sturdy & was decent material. Very disappointing!!!
