I received my wooden watch yesterday as promised and upon opening the box I was pleasently surprised at the box the watch came in. Additionally, I took one look at my first ever allmost all wooden watch and I loved what I was looking at. As I removed the watch from its carefully formed and protective box I found 'spare band links, a fancy all metal tool to remove a link in the band and instructions in a fancy case of its own on how to set the watch," The Instructions were cristal clear. As I finished removing the items from the box I found a lovely wood bead bracelet. What a nice surprise. Sadly, it is a bit too tight for me to wear or I would wear it , it is that nice. For a company to add a small but lovely surprise shows the quality and sincerity of the company. AMAZON Prime is a great market place for such a wonderful company as VICVS. I hope that anyone who likes fancy georgous wood will check out this "Men's Wooden Watch, VICVS 100% Natural Wood Watch, Japanese Quartz Movement." The wood itself comes in three different types of wood. The price for this beautiful wooden watch was surprisingly reasonable. Just looking at the photos display on AMAZON PRIME sole me as well as the watch being made by professionals in Japan. I like the dark wood grain and the light weight of the watch while wearing it. I don't like the instructions for setting it. The English was poor. The band is a little large but it comes with extra links if its to small.

I bought this watch November 28 as a Christmas present. The watch was beautiful and my husband loved it. Unfortunately, the band broke within a month when my husband flexed his wrist. On closer inspection, we saw that the holes in the link nearest the watchface were drilled off-center, which had created a weakness. VICVS claims to have a 1 year warranty, so we emailed them twice with a picture of the defect without any response. I wish I would have noticed the defect sooner just returned it.
