I purchased this coat based on the raving reviews, but it did not meet my expectations that they set. I find it hard to believe this coat would be warm enough to wear skiing or shoveling snow in Northern Michigan. I guess I'll find out in the next 36 hours as we are expecting at least 7"-10" of snow and near 0° temps. The shell is rugged and feels like it could withstand some abuse. The liner, which is not removable, is a furry fleece that is very soft to the touch. The zippers are plastic, so you shouldn't have to worry about them freezing up, and the coat has multiple, functioning pockets. I don't see the need for multiple embroidered logos, but it is what it is. For the price, it would seem to be a reasonable purchase. Sizing is accurate and color is uniform. As for functionality; time will tell. Overall it's an excellent purchase at the sale price (I paid about $35). I would definitely recommend it as something to keep in the car or camper for emergencies, but I'm not sure it would be my first choice for a daily wear in inclement weather.

This has become my go to winter jacket here in Northern Arkansas. Doesn't seem to be quite as insulated as my old jacket but works fine for my lattitude and the ZIPPER seems a lot more sturdy and hopefully will lat a while. I also really like I can take the hood off and not have it bunched up behind my neck in the car seat. I normally take a medium and that's what I ordered. Perfect fit (5'6, 155 lb)

DAY-ONE REVIEW: It feels pretty light weight for Cold Weather? But, all literature cites it's WARMTH. Just got it today. Now I usually order XL's, but have lost 20 lbs on ozempic so I downsized my coat to a LARGE. This coat's length & sleeves are perfect, but I think it is a little snug. Keeping it for sure though. I am 5'11, now 180 lbs. I like the coat & it's features. So not sure if it's me or the coat runs a little small. Just a head up to consider. Like I said, I am definitely happy & keeping the Large. WEEK-TWO REVIEW: Live in Chicago area, temp -12 today, wind really high lately. This Coat is AWEOME WARM. Just like it states, it holds heat inside & blocks that wind! I remain perfectly comfortable outside this week because this Coat is WARM! <<I had to add this addition to the review!
