Great quality and fit.

  • A solid boot at a bargain price.
Size: 9 Color: Brown
Not gonna lie - did not have many expectations out of a $60 boot made in China; it's no Cody James or even an Ariat boot - so it wont win you any contests, but it does not disappoint either for the price point. Workmanship is decent; stitching, embroidery, sole adhesion, insole etc - all are of decent quality and construction. Sometimes on these cheaper boots, the stitching starts to fray, or you can see over-gluing of the sole, but not on these boots; it does feel more premium than the boot would suggest. The shaft is floppy - but that's expected as it is synthetic material. The irony, though, is that it allows for a lot of flexibility whether you wear it over your jeans or under your jeans (or no jeans!); coupled with a soft interior lining - it has a great feel to it. The counter, instep and vamp feel very solid and do not squeeze your foot from any direction - again, very surprising for the price of the boot. Toe box is fairly open and my toes feel amazing as long as I wear a nice thick athletic sock. My daily boos are Cody James and my feet/toes feel just as free/comfortable in the Jytdun boots as they do in my CJs. As far sizing goes - my CJs are 8.5D, the size 9 of the Jytdun fit me pretty good. Rubber sole is great for pretty much any application - so not much to say there. Solid footings, no squeaking, no marking/rubbing on indoor surfaces. And aesthetics wise - I am a huge fan of the warm brown color these came in, and the slightly distresses look of the exterior faux-leather is my favorite. I just wish the color was a touch darker, but that's my personal preference. Don't really have an opinion on the design of the shaft/quarter - honestly could live without it because I normally have my jeans over the boots, but I've seen worse so no complaints there. Overall - as a casual outing boot (to save the fancy ones for a real special occasion) - these are a great choice for a great price. ... show more

  • Decent for the price.
Size: 9 Color: Black
The boot arrived and matched the pictures exactly. Fit matched as well. I don’t particularly like the boot shaft, but I guess that is expected with a clothe embroidered shaft vice leather/faux leather. The fit is comfortable and the rubber sole is durable. For $60 this is not a bad boot, especially if you’re just stepping into the wide world of boots. Disclosure: I received this item for free through the Amazon Vine program in exchange for an honest review. I am not paid or influenced to give a positive rating. About this review: This review is written by me, based on my personal use of the product. I do not use auto-generative features, such as AI to write product assessments. How I rate: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ (5 stars) – The product delivers what I realistically expect at its price. It does the job it claims to do, with no meaningful issues. This includes inexpensive or “budget” items. A $15 item that performs like a $15 item can still be 5 stars, because it is good value for the cost. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ (4 stars) – Generally solid, but with a small flaw, missing feature, or slightly weaker value than it should have for the price. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ (3 stars) – Average. Works, but either the quality feels cheap for the cost, or the design/fit/finish is just okay. Usable, but not impressive. ⭐ ⭐ (2 stars) – Below expectations. It technically functions but has notable problems, durability concerns, or is overpriced for what you get. ⭐ (1 star) – Does not perform its basic job, arrived defective, broke immediately, or is so badly designed that I would not recommend buying it even at a discount. In short: I don’t rate based on “Is this the nicest version of this product I’ve ever seen?” I rate based on “Does this product deliver fair value for the price it’s sold at?” ... show more

  • Good looking boot, comfortable feel, good sole traction
Size: 9 Color: Black
I have my own leather cowboy boots, but they cost several hundred dollars, and I wanted to try a faux leather set, one that wouldn't break the bank. I found that these are REALLY nice looking! The faux leather looks really good, but they don't feel exactly like leather. The fabric at the calf of the boots are very durable and good texture. The stitching looks nice, and the soles are a good rubber, with traction and grip. The feel of the inside of the boot on my foot is really good and comfortable. I got a size 9, when my feet are 8.5, because I have a custom orthotic I have to wear for the bones in my feet. The 9 was a good size for me, the top of my feet hit perfect, and have room at the tip that I'm not hitting my toes. I was actually a little disappointed I had to remove the inserts that came with the boots, because they felt quite nice, and have good cushion. The one thing to note is that when I walk, the boot bends on the top of the black, causing a crease in the top. I don't mind that, and might be because I chose 1/2 a size larger, but I do wonder what it will do to the faux leather material over time, and will it cause it to crack. The cost of these boots is a real deal to get a nice looking boot, most real leather boots will start about $150, but I paid $250 for mine, and I'm pretty cheap with my footwear. ... show more
