We used this to increase privacy on the glass of our front door. It has reduced the ability of anyone from seeing inside . Not as smooth a finish as I had hoped. This rough surface seems to flake off with even the lightest bumping into the glass. Should have gone with frosted Contact paper for window privacy. This stuff's pretty cool! It really does create a nice frosted glass effect. Note that you'll probably want to use a few coats; the more coats, the more frosted the effect will be. Also, don't be surprised if it doesn't look like it's working right away - it will once it dries (which it does pretty quickly). You can get some very cool effects if you mask off part of the glass before using this - creates an etched look. ... show more

A disappointed on the size of the can when I received it. By the looks of the picture when purchasing it, it looked like a full size can. Nope a half size can. I bought a full size can a Home Depot for the same price. I was dooped but the selling photo. My fault for not reading the fine print.

I regret having purchased Krylon 9040. Note that it's only a small 6oz can. I'm very experienced at using spray paints including Krylon products (which in general I like) however with this frosted glass finish product I'm disappointed. 1) One needs to use a lot more of this product to cover completely than any other spray paint that I've ever used. Once I purchased 1 can I was stuck and had to purchase 3 additional cans to get the coverage of what I had expected with this small can. 2) To get your glass finish to look smooth and even is difficult. ... show more

I've always used the static frosted privacy liners on windows but decided to try this spray on version. While the odor was quite strong at first (think outdoor spray paint), after the smell dissipates, you're left with a beautifully frosted glass window that won't peel off in the cold months. It was only a 6oz can, not a regular sized can of spay paint. So, my project isn't completed, because I RAN OUT OF PAINT.
