These cargo shorts are actually really solid once you get them on. The cotton fabric feels breathable and comfortable, perfect for hot days when you just want something easy and durable without overthinking it. They’ve got that classic loose straight fit that gives you plenty of movement without feeling stiff or restrictive. I’m 6’0” and about 153 lbs, and I went with a size small. Fit is good overall, but I’ll say it leans a bit roomy even in small. Not sloppy, just relaxed in that old school cargo short way where comfort clearly won the design meeting. Pocket situation is honestly the highlight. Six total pockets means you can carry half your life if you want—phone, keys, wallet, random screws you forgot you were holding… everything has a place. I ordered these cargo shorts in a size 34 for my husband, and the 34 fits him exactly the way he likes. He is 6'0" and around 190 pounds with an average build, and these sit comfortably at the waist with a regular fit through the hips and legs. The fabric is 100% cotton, and it has that soft, breathable feel that works well for summer. The material is lightweight without feeling thin, and the straight leg cut gives him plenty of room to move. The shorts have 6 pockets, including 2 side slash pockets, 2 rear pockets, and 2 cargo pockets with snaps. He uses cargo pockets all the time for his phone, keys, and small tools, so this layout works well for him. The zipper fly and button closure feel sturdy, and the stitching is neat with clean seams and no loose threads. The cotton has a relaxed feel right out of the package, and it washes well. I washed them on cold and dried them on low, and they kept their shape. The midrise is comfortable for him, and the length hits at a good spot above the knee. He wore them for yard work and errands, and he said they stayed comfortable all day. The fabric breathes well in the Arizona heat, which is important for him. These are pretty much exactly what they claim to be. Fit was accurate to size, the material feels decent overall, and they're comfortable enough for regular wear without feeling stiff or awkward. These arrived vacuum sealed in a bag with no official product packaging. The fabric feels like a thick soft type cotton and the listing states that these shorts are made of 100% cotton. I do question what material this is as the wash label is not clear. It is worth noting that there is no stretch to this fabric so make sure you order the correct size. I ordered 34" and these were exactly the right size. I checked the garment over and the stitching is okay, not perfect but passable. The lining in the pockets are made of a flimsy synthetic type material which I am not a fan of, it has a paper type feel to it. There are 6 belt loops around the waist (two double loops at the back). The button in the waist doesn't feel very strong but it slips over the button hole easily. The zipper looks like the typical brass colored zipper which slides well. Two front pockets and two back pockets with one pocket on each thigh. All the pockets, except for the front pockets, have a flap and are fastened with a popper. As mentioned at the bottom of the listing there is no belt included, even though a belt is literally on every image. Overall the quality is okay, not perfect, but for the price this is a good deal.
