Plugged this in and it worked well. Unfortunately, the cord got so hot that I couldn’t touch it. The heat extended to the outlet too, warming the whole wall around the outlet for about 8 inches all around. I sent it back.

The reviews I read prior to buying this product had me thinking that the product would heat up quickly & be perfect, it actually takes a long time to heat up but eventually does heat up the water & I also thought the cord would be longer then it was.
