Plugged this in and it worked well. Unfortunately, the cord got so hot that I couldn’t touch it. The heat extended to the outlet too, warming the whole wall around the outlet for about 8 inches all around. I sent it back.

First, this product did work good. Heated my softub up pretty fast. Six hours and was close to 100 degrees. The problem is, the darn thing already started rusting and left a three in rust stain on my hot tub floor. Not happy at all. Yes I said I owned it six hours and the thing started rusting. This worked great at first, would heat up my Intex pool by a few extra degrees, but after a few weeks of use it started tripping the circuit every time I plugged it in to any outlet

The reviews I read prior to buying this product had me thinking that the product would heat up quickly & be perfect, it actually takes a long time to heat up but eventually does heat up the water & I also thought the cord would be longer then it was.
