I got this for a spare bed that grad kids sleep on. One night I slept on the bed and it was awful. I added this instead of a new mattress. I only had to lay it out for a few hours for it to puff up. No smell to it either. In just pushing on the bed it seems like it is going to be so much better to sleep on.

My husband is currently on Hospice & he has a hospital bed. He was very uncomfortable in the hospital bed. I ordered this 2” gel mattress for his bed. I had my doubts if just 2” would make a difference but we are on a tight budget so price was a major consideration. This gel mattress is excellent! It is so comfortable! This mattress pad is like sleeping on a cloud. The old pad I had, the egg crate design, was torn and had lost its memory characteristic after over 10 years use. I have back issues with 5 compressed vertebrae so a comfortable night’s sleep is appreciated. I’m a side sleeper and switch sides often. I wouldn’t trade this memory foam pad for anything.

The measurements aren’t exact, and I hated the fact that one of these (out of three) came with an exploded bead pack that made an absolute mess that I had to worry about my animals eating upon opening the box. The foam itself is good as far as comfort goes, the thicker the better. I would’ve liked for the measurements on all of these to be exact considering what it was used for though and of course not the mess.
