  • Similar to that other one, In name ONLY
Comfy Sacks 8 ft Memory Foam Bean Bag Chair, Charcoal Micro Suede 96x96x34 available in twenty colors/covers I cannot adequately describe how disappointed we are with it. First, it looks nothing, absolutely nothing like the product description photos. (See my attached pictures.) This is what it really looks like. See the balls of microfiber compressed in the cube. Well, it has been two weeks, my hubby and his brother (each weighing nearly 200 lbs) have rolled, kneaded, pushed, and pulled at it for fourteen days and it is not going to get any better. There is zero support. There is No "fluffy" - None. When sitting or laying "in" this bean bag, You can feel each little piece against your body. There's no cohesiveness. It would require purchasing two or even three times as much stuffing to give this thing any shape. .and I'm not convinced even that would make it comfortable. Yep, I did say sit or lay "in" -- because you sink into the golfball sized pieces, and it takes real effort to get up out of it. It does not feel soft, gooshy, - like memory foam. OMG, it weighs a ton. It lays all spread out, flat, and ugly. My dogs loved it. I guess they thought we gave them the Cadillac of dog beds. From the product description and photos, I thought this "Comfy Sack" would be similar to the Love Sac. Boy was I wrong! Similar only in name. I have no idea how a customer would go about returning this monstrosity. Throwing it in the garbage was a huge chore. I mean seriously it took four strong men to drag it to the road. Don't be fooled. Steer clear of this. There are much less expensive bean bags available here on Amazon. I can not in good conscience recommend this bean bag to other shoppers. *If you find this review helpful and informative, Please tell Amazon by clicking the Helpful button👍below. ... show more

  • Yikes. Keep looking. TRUST ME!
Mmmkay, let's just get right into the reasons why you shouldn't buy this: - COST: Yeah I know why they have to charge this much for this "bean bag" (which isn't a bean bag). It must cost a fortune to ship because it seriously weighs about as much as my entire family combined, including our dog! That being said, what you get is not remotely worth even HALF of what they charge. - USABILITY: So, when it arrives it's in this vacuum sealed cube and is supposed to fluff up once you open it. Nope. Not unless you get our your sledge hammer. We rolled it around and kicked it and worked on it like that said. They said it could take a few days to fully fluff up, but day after day it was still a slightly larger but just as firm lumpy 400 pound brick. I tried so hard to get it to fluff up but I can't even move it by myself so that made it very difficult! When after like 2 weeks we finally got it broken apart enough to lay on, it was so spread out that it takes up basically out entire basement (see pics). My son (7 year old with autism who loves to jump) does love this thing for all its flaws. He basically uses it to jump into from off the couch or the stairs, but that's it, and for how big it is and how heavy, I would rather just throw it out and buy a queen size mattress he can use to do the same thing. We haven't been able to throw it out for a few reasons though. First, it's too heavy to move it 3 inches, let alone outside, into a car and to the dump. Second, our 85lb Labradoodle has decided it's now his bed. He LOVES it! He has a bed but that bed isn't getting used at all now that we have this giant tan amoeba in our house. I say tan amoeba because it's impossible to put the cover on it now that it's full size (even though they tell you to wait until it's fully grown into an adult amoeba) because it's IMPOSSIBLE TO MANEUVER! Have I mentioned it's impossible to maneuver? It's impossible to maneuver. No "bean bag" should be this heavy. It just shouldn't. PERIOD. I gave it 2 stars because my son loves to jump in it and read stories in it as a family and my dog loves it. That being said, I would never buy this and would never recommend for others to buy it under any circumstances. ... show more

  • Big, Expensive Bean Bag
This product is basically a huge, expensive bean bag that is filled with memory foam rather than the traditional styrofoam that most bean bags have. While the tiny pieces of memory foam are a huge improvement in comfort the product is nowhere near as comfortable to lay on as a tradition memory foam or latex mattress. Besides the fact that the bean bag offers no support as a traditional mattress would it gets very easily lopsided and lumpy in places. This is especially true if someone else is trying to lay on it at the same time. I would definitely not be able to sleep on it, unless I was so exhausted that I would literally sleep on the floor. When you first get the product it comes in a "ball" that weighs a ton and can not be easily moved around other than by rolling it. Unlike most mattresses the bean bag takes a LONG time to fully "inflate" after you remove the vacuum seal. You definitely do not want to try using it the same day or you will possibly ruin it for good. Give it a few days at the very least. Most of the growth will take place in the first few hours, but it will keep expanding for days and days before it finally "settles". Is the product worth $700? I don't really think so, personally. I might pay half of that, but certainly not the price that it is selling for right now. I'm sure that quality foam is expensive, but I just can't justify the price for how often it is being used. ... show more
