  • Good coffee beans
I really like the flavor of this coffee, its rich and makes a really flavorful cup of coffee. The only complaint I would have is that this brand is not always available through Amazon and when it is the price can fluctuate greatly. I understand Members Mark is a Sam's Club brand. I'll have to join a local Sam's Club if I want to purchase more Members Mark Colombian Supremo Whole Bean coffee when I run out. ... show more

  • Best deal I've found on a basic, good, Columbian Supremo
At this price point this is the best coffee I've found on Amazon so far and I've done a LOT of hunting on Amazon for my coffee. I'm a big fan of 100% Arabica Columbian Supremo so I don't really look for anything else. If you drink something else you might as well stop reading here. This applies to Columbian coffee(s) only. I've tried a lot of Columbian/Columbian Supremo coffees on Amazon and bought the 5 lb. bag of Fresh Roasted Coffee LLC (TM) for years. The price has been steadily rising and is just under $50 for a 5 lb. bag now so I started looking to see if I could find something in the same quality range at a lower price. 5 lbs. of coffee should not cost nearly $50. It's coffee not caviar. I don't care even a little bit about the social aspects of my coffee beans. I do not want to pay an inflated price so I can feel good about myself. My self worth is not tied to how my coffee is produced and I am not interested in virtue signalling. I'm fine with the market driving the price of my coffee beans. I do not need coffee beans grown and picked by an ethnically diverse culturally balanced workforce of socialist insurgent guerillas that's roasted in an environmentally friendly carbon neutral state-of-the-art roaster. It's the end result that matters to me, I want good coffee at the best price. Other than that I just don't care and I think a lot of that kind of thing can be claimed but not proven anyway. It's feel good fluff. However ... This coffee says it's "Fair Trade Certified" so I'm trying to figure out why a coffee bean from the same region probably sourced by the same processes through the same market channels can cost a third or more higher than another coffee bean while being nearly indistinguishable from the cheaper alternative. That tells me I'm paying an extra premium to buy feel-good coffee. That means the more expensive coffee is a grift and I don't like being grifted one little bit. All else being equal, I'm going to go with the cheaper coffee bean and this is that bean. For the same price I can get a third more of this coffee and that means until I find an even better deal this will be my go-to morning coffee moving forward. A savings of 33% is significant. Thank you, Member's Mark, for putting this coffee on Amazon where it's easy to procure, as good as any other Columbian Supremo and a lot cheaper than what I've been buying. I don't have money to burn so you win my hard earned, scarce cash and I feel just fine about drinking your coffee. Raise the price and I'll be hunting for a new brand of coffee, again. I love my morning coffee and drink a small 5 cup pot of percolated coffee fresh ground every day. I don't love being robbed by paying more for the same thing so that's not happening when I can do something about it. If you charge too much then what I can do about it is buy a cheaper coffee indistinguishable from the more expensive brand. That's how free enterprise works and that's what keeps consumer prices low. ... show more

  • Very good everyday coffee
If you're making a pot of coffee to start a normal day, this is very good coffee. It has that creamy taste I associate with Columbian. I've had better, and tend to have better on a leisurely Sunday morning but for every day this is very good coffee.

  • Why Pay Sam’s A Membership Fee?
I am a Sam’s Member, same great coffee same great price? But! Amazon can deliver 3 days earlier! And I’m out of my favorite coffee! Sam’s says three days Amazon say tomorrow?
