I've been using this mount for a few months, streaming, video calls, even a bit of light voice acting. It holds my AT2035 (14oz) strong at even max distance. It's easy to rotate, easy to mount, easy to place and I've never had it sag at all. When I'm not using it, it's rotated off to the side, and it holds just as well there, for sometimes a week straight with no issues. It was a great purchase and one that will definitely stay on my desk till it gives up or I do, but I think it'll outlast me haha ... show more

This boom is awesome I've been able to move it around and get it into any position that I needed to in order to use it the most effective possible way I can. My mic is very heavy and it still holds it up right where I want it to be stuck it removes easy from the desk if I need to move it out of the way and it reattaches just as easily it's perfect for I do podcast all day long. ... show more

    • Clamp MAXIMIUM CLEARANCE 6.2 mm
The clamp is advertised to have a 7 cm opening. The clamps maximum opening is 6.2 cm. And that is if you remove the top and bottom rubber protector pads and file down the sharp spikes the protectors are covering up. 5.9 cm is probably the appropriate opening size for the clamp.

Guess I'm the first to leave a bad review.... but cannot help it. It's not adjustable. It appeared new, inside the box. But upon unwrapping, discovered a warning sticker on the package 'caution: spring loaded' … which sure enough, after cutting the zip tie---literally sprung wide open. Which could have caused injury to myself or anyone else standing by. Not good, for a professional quality boom arm. My old boom didn't even do this. You had to manually move the joints to adjust them to preference. Then upon close exam of these lock/elbow joints, it appeared some plastic thingy's that were supposed to hold them in place, were broken or missing. I cannot use it for my home studio, as its not adjustable. I am returning. ... show more
