Once you put the clippers together and set the length its very easy to use. It's very helpful to get all of the nails to be the same length. It's pretty sharp so it cuts the nails quickly. The color is good so it's easier to see it when it's sitting on the table. Good price, and really lightweight.

I mostly used these before to remove my gel nail extensions until I started wearing longer ones that needed to be trimmed and I really got to utilize the sizer part. The longest setting is my perfect length and the blade is still as sharp as ever and cuts clean, my only issues are that the thingie on the back to catch the excess you clip off is useless, it pops off every time you use it (I just took it off), and I have to be really careful about cutting a straight line (when I’m resizing, I don’t really care when I’m just removing an old set). Other than that these work great.

I was looking forward to using this nail cutter with attached sizing wheel. The wheel was very difficult to keep on as was the nail catcher cap. The cap did t want to stay in place either. It was just made very flimsy. And, while I didn’t use it to actually clip an acrylic nail tip, the blade for cutting seems ok. Overall, I was disappointed with this nail cutter with sizing wheel and tip catcher.

Me and my husband made attempts to make this work. Upon opening the bag a small piece of plastic fell out of the handle. It wasnt until later i realized that piece was critical. The clippers were not strong enought to cut through my builder gel nails, the blade wouldn't even completely close. I didn't get around to using this until nearly 1 month after purchase and it broke on the first nail. A piece inside of the clippers (that was crucial to their function) had snapped off before I even tried using them. I even tried gluing/bonding the piece back on with super glue and builder gel, but nothing has worked. If I hadn't let the return date pass they'd have gone back IMMEDIATELY.

I like to use press on nail kits but they are typically too long in length in order to get the extra width that fits my nail beds. This device trims them down quickly and easily so that all I have to do is file the edges smooth afterward. Also, it does not bend the plastic nails and create creases or ridges or cracks in the polish as a standard nail trimmer often does, so this device is particularly perfect for use on plastic nails.
