I purchased one of these for my queen sized bed and I unrolled it on top of the queen sized mattress and just left it there for a couple hours and it expanded to the right size and then I made the bed and voila. This one, however, was a bit more difficult. I don't know if it was because it was compressed for longer or if it was because it was a larger size pad squished more than the previous one, but this took forever to expand to full size. I was expecting company and got it about 3 days before they were due to arrive. So, I unrolled it on the king sized mattress. I noticed I had to really peel apart the sections where that hadn't been an issue before. Eventually, when I got it unrolled, I left it for two days. When I checked it, it still hadn't completely expanded on the ends. So, I spent some time peeling apart the edges that seemed to be stuck to each other. Eventually, the next day, I just had to make the bed with it not completely expanded. They said that it was only semi-comfortable. So, when they left I took the sheets and mattress pad off and shook it a few times and left it on the bed for several more days. This time when I came in it had expanded to its full size. Although I notice that it doesn't quite reach the edge of the mattress like the queen sized one did. I think it is a bit better, but so far, not as good as the first one I bought. EDIT: I spoke to my daughter and she said it was definitely softer the second time she slept on it.

Reading the reviews I was definitely worried but instead of leaving it fluff up on its own I gently pulled apart the places that seemed to be taking longer and it fluffed up in half hour for me!! I bought this to help with my hips and back and it morphs to my body and provides the support I was looking for! The only thing that bummed me out was I didn't get the purple one but I got a beige one but it was still scented so I honestly didn't even care to much after getting great sleep!

I bought this to add softness , it is very soft . I have herniated disks in my back , frozen shoulder and hip joint pain and needed a softer bed than what I’m used to and have . Didn’t want to purchase another mattress. We let the topper expand for 48!hours . It’s very thick I got thr 3 “ I was wondering if I should have got the 2”instead but so far I have been able to sleep more than 3 hours at a time which is great! I will have to see how it does after more worn in . If your a stomach sleeper you still can but it’s very marshmallowy lol I love it helps with the pressure on sciatica pain and pressure on my hips .and the fact I have been able to sleep more hours at a time from not having tremendous pain when sleeping is a huge plus ! So far it’s great . Hope this helps only reason I didn’t give 5 starts is only have had it few days and don’t know how it will be down the road after worn in .

We got this as a portable dog bed. We have giant dogs, so a bed that is light weight and "toss in the car-able" is hard to find. I bought a duvet cover for it, so its easy to keep clean. I can fold the whole thing in half to fit it in the van, or stash it in a closet. But quick and easy to pull out for a camping dog bed, or football game at someone else's house. Its very tough, and just enough support to make 160 pound dogs comfortable.

I love the softness of this topper. It sleeps very well. It does make me still wake up hot though. I believe I'd prefer a medium over the soft though. Im a small, thin person and I leave a pretty lg indent when I arise from it. I do not like this at all, as it takes awhile to regain itself back to normal. normal. I do not like the fact it doesn't come with a cover or straps. It does seem to stay in place though. I believe I'd buy again only with a firmer one and if it were covered. It's very comfortable though.

First night, I tried it without the pretty teal mattress cover for my old jack knife full size bed/couch. Slept with relief from my fibro pain the first night with just the Mellow foam & a sheet. The mattress cover just arrived today. Together, they are nicer to look at than the original outdated upholstery this old early 90s 5th wheel came with. I wanted something to hold me over until renovations begin. And this is much nicer & great for guest visiting to sleep on or sit on! I can also enjoy my evenings on the homestead now on my SOFT jack knife couch!! These old jack knife couches are very uncomfortable to sleep on without the aide of this product. Not that great to sit on long term either. Now, with the Mellow foam & the mattress cover....perfection! Sleeping out here again just to enjoy it & make sure it is the very best for guests when they visit either over night or just a quick visit. My neighbors that love to come over will LOVE this!
