All the parts were present and undamaged, all but one panel labeled, and labeled correctly. The 2 issues were, two panels were not glued and the staples were loose - I noticed when unpacking and glued them before assembly began. The other issue was holes for the door hinges would be helpful, there were marks in the melamine but when putting doors on the assembled product it was too hard to screw in the hinges to get the door just right. Answer was pre-drill hinge holes and then install doors. Overall great for the cheapest cabinet of this size/# shelves. Ordering another to match, as a Microwave cabinet right now. ... show more

The color of this is much more of a very cold, brown with a slight gray tinge color than the warmer light oak as pictured in the example photos. The outer finish is like those plastic manufactured beams--which isn't bad, I think it will hold up very well against minor dings and bumps and should be hard to stain with any food or chemicals. I just cannot get over how much the finish color is so different from the advertised pictures--I specifically went for this because it would fit it color/tone-wise with the lighter white oak furniture we have, and didn't have that yellow or dark gold or honey color that many manufactured pieces have. See photo for the difference in color/tone. I haven't decided yet whether to keep it or return it, so I have not put it together so cannot speak to the durability, but the pieces seem robust enough ... show more

Before you buy this product, first understand some things about the company that makes it: 1.) They do not have a phone number or any "easy" way to contact them. 2.) The children they employ in their factories do not know how to properly label/package the pieces so that you will have what you need to assemble the cabinet properly 3.) You will not be able to return this product. They do not pay for return shipping and since it would cost you $250 to pay for the shipping, it is not worth it to return it. You cannot just "return it to Kohls" like every single other item sold on Amazon. Now to the cabinet: 25 percent of the parts in the package were labeled incorrectly or missing completely. After going back and forth with the company for 4 weeks trying to get the correct parts I needed, I finally decided to take out my cordless drill and re-make all of the holes in the panels so that they fit together properly. Many of the panels were missing holes where they were supposed to be in the instructions. Many other panels have exactly reversable hole patterns on the LHS and RHS panels, but the company shipped two LHS or two RHS panels with one of them mislabeled. This company needs to do some very serious quality control and fire all of their workers and start over if they intend to continue making products. In addition, they very much need to pay the money to have an American based customer service department that can speak English and answer the phone. Finally, they need to pay the $5 to Amazon to allow for their products to be conveniently returned like all of the other Amazon suppliers do. Due to this experience I will definitely never buy anything that has this companies name on it ever again, and I may never purchase another piece of furniture from Amazon ever again. Love the cabinet. NOTE TO MANUFACTURER: PLEASE! 1) Put the screws in SEPARATE BAGS! Items H, J, and S, all look the same and it is VERY ANNOYING to separate them! 2) PLEASE design LARGER screws! They are all so tiny I can barely hold them!! 3) some numbers fell off the different parts. 4) Label the sliding rails FRONT AND BACK! I followed directions, but the drawer would not close until I dis-assembled the rails and re-installed them in the opposite direction! 5) The plastic fasteners CANNOT be installed on the top half of the cabinet - my body does not twist backwards to be able to screw them in! It IS a nice cabinet, but these are very big issues. ... show more

This was so difficult to assemble. There are absolutely no words in the instructions. It’s all pictures. It says two hours with two people to assemble. Granted, I’m not super handy but I do follow instructions and don’t take shortcuts. It took me a minimum of 8 hours over two days to get it together. I still haven’t figured out the drawer yet. My son is going to come take a look at it and see if he can figure it out. If I could send it back, I would. There isn’t one thing that is preassembled. It it literally dozen of pieces in a box and a plethora of screws that aren’t very easy to decipher which is which because they don’t match the pictures. Never again. ... show more

sEEMS TO BE A NICE PRODUCT BUT ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS ARE POORLY WRITTEN AND DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND. IN ADDITION ITEM IS POORLY ENGINEEREED, MANY PARTS DO NOT FIT AND WHEN CONPLETELY ASSEMBLYED DOORS DO NOT FIT CORRECTLY. BE CAREFUL, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!
