I knew when I bought a new bed the foam would collapse -- why on earth can't you buy an old fashioned long-lasting mattress anymore? Anyway, after less than a year, my new mattress made my back ache, sure enough. This is a good solution -- it is very light weight, very well made, and once you figure out where to put it, it works like a charm on my queen-size bed (I sleep alone -- you'd need two of them if you have a partner on the same queen bed). It is a little difficult to figure out the "sweet spot" for placement and it took a week or so of moving it around to find that -- surprising how much difference it makes when you do find that spot. It is not difficult to make the bed with it in place as I feared. I no longer wake up with a sore back, and I don't have to replace my expensive mattress so soon after purchase.

Have a 5 year old mattress that started to sag and instead of replacing, wanted to see about a possible "fix." I read online that a pillow placed right under the sag helps, and it did for the interim while I awaited this support pad. Much to my delight, it didn't stink so I didn't have to "offgas" it first. I've only used it one night, and I could tell an immediate, wonderful, helpful difference. It wasn't difficult to place it either. I just marked on the bed frame where the sag was, pushed the mattress up and off the frame, and then gently laid it back on top and the pad stayed in place. I have a full size mattress, not sure if I would be able to do this by myself if it was a bigger size, might need some help. Also, I only purchased the one pad, for me and so the other side does dip down quite a bit as is to be expected. It does take some getting used to as the body gets used to not being properly supported but it is well worth it, and I slept so much better thanks to Ben and Laura! Note, I did take away one star since it was packaged by Meliusly, not Amazon, with the pad flush to the top of the box, and when using a box cutter, it came seriously close to cutting into the pad itself. Perhaps a small bit of packing material? Also, the directions are subpar, in that there is nothing stating what to expect/anticipate with it. Yes, it is self explanatory, but it still would be a nice way to "touch base" with folks. Also, a picture of how exactly to place the pad under the mattress like what's on the web page would be exceedingly helpful especially for someone who does better with pictures, which of course is worth a thousand words...

I like this product so far because it my mattress is solid and comfortable again. It had an area sagging which caused my back to hurt. I was very surprised how it felt after placing this product under the mattress. I am just loving it. The price did up quick on them.

Nice quality. It made my mattress too hard causing me back pain. For an unknown reason, I wanted to slide off my bed in my sleep causing me to get little sleep.

Our mattresses have been sagging for the last year, but new ones are extremely expensive. We were waiting until next year when we move to buy new ones, but now we don't have to! This product is wonderful! It took a little adjusting, but once we found the sweet spot, sleeping is finally easy!

So far I like this pad , at first it seemed to make the bed really high , but once I started laying on it the sag in the mattress disappeared. I feel over time the mattress will level out a little more. It does what it’s supposed to do .
