This is such a cute little learning puzzle and clock! I got it for my son several months ago and initially he wasn’t interested in it yet. Developmentally he just wasn’t there yet. However, now that he’s 29 months old (almost two and a half) he’s really taken a liking to it. He enjoys saying the numbers out loud, matching the shapes and numbers. There are so many levels of learning with this puzzle toy. I think it’s also useful well into the 4-5 year olds because of the time feature. I purchased this after getting the flat Mickey Mouse shapes puzzle and my son loves this so much. While he's still too young to understand telling time, this is sturdy and I see it lasting us until he can learn. The colors used for the shapes are extremely vivid in person and definitely keep my son's attention. There's a lot of different shapes besides the basic handful that are usually talked about and the label on the back lists them all which is helpful cause even I didn't know the name of a couple. I would definitely recommend this to anybody with a child that loves Disney or is learning shapes, colors, numbers or to tell time. ... show more

Awesome toy for a girl or boy! First of all, it has Mickey Mouse on it and just about every kid loves Mickey! It is a great teaching tool as it has several different colors, shapes, numbers, angles and of course it is also designed to help assist in teaching how to tell time. The toy is all wood and it is solid and made of excellent quality. The clock had a piece on the back that allows it to stand up as well. This is great as a gift for ages 1 - 6. ... show more

    • High quality clock for little ones!
Melissa & Doug is a very well known company, and I used to stay away from them because of the paint on them. However, after buying this I have to say I love their products. You get what you pay for! This clock is very high quality. The paint has stayed on no matter how much my 11 month old has tossed the pieces around. The only thing I worry about is that she has a tendency to put the pieces in her mouth, and some of the pieces are small enough for her to get stuck in her throat. She does have to be monitored closely with this, but if you have a child that doesn't do that, no worries. This is perfect for any child learning their numbers, colors, shapes, or telling time. The hands and arms on Mickey move around, despite a little difficulty even for myself to move. It even has a small ledge on the back to push it up off of the ground so it doesn't lay flat. I think it is important to know that this is not a real clock, but it will help your little one how to tell time, as well as help with learning numbers, shapes and colors. Also the blocks are removable. The hands in the clock also move

This toy was a slam dunk with both my 18 month old and my 2 and a half year old! My kids aren't old enough to understand how to tell time, but this toy helps them to understand counting and how to actually use numbers, rather than just recognizing and memorizing. We haven't lost any pieces yet. I think I may add a magnetic backing to each to add some extra protection against losing a random number, but even if one is lost, the number is visible under where the puzzle piece will go, so the counting never has to end. ... show more

I bought this toy for my 2 -year-old to learn some new shapes. I homeschool my older child also (age 10). This product even worked well for my 10-year-old when we were reviewing clock reading. She struggles with the terms (past and til). This product is great because it is an appropriate learning toy from age 2-10. Great value for the money spent! ... show more
