  • Sounds meaty as suspected.
Size: 15"
They're beefy - as one would expect 15s to sound. Softer on the ears live, amd the size and thickness definitely effect the stick rebound compared to 14s - but nothing I'd say is a negative. Give em a try if a few YouTube videos brought you here to pick them up.

  • My favorite ever!
Size: 14"
I've always played heavier hats. These are very light and super dry. Beautiful sounding hats that are very soft on the ears. Probably record really well.

  • This cymbal has a suprisingly low volume and chick sound. The quality and sound is great.
Size: 15"
Byzance produces quality sounding cymbals and these aren't any exceptions. Extremely light weight and suprisingly low volume for the size. The 'chick sound' isnt as pronounced as you would hope, coming from a pair of 15 inch hi hats. These cymbals are not ideal for loud venue gigs or shows, but they work perfectly in low volume settings. The hi hat top has an amazing crash sound. If disappointed with the hi hat sound collectively, you can use the hi hat top as a crash cymbal. ... show more

  • More versatile than you'd think
Size: 13"
Very cushy and feel-good in their stick sound with plenty of nice breathiness to the open sound, though they are certainly on the quieter side of things. The top makes a great large splash too! I've been using them upside down almost exclusively, though. In this configuration, the unlathed cymbal gives you a wonderfully different timbre, sort of like the 13" Extra Dry hats but sharper. It being heavier than the lathed cymbal, you could easily use this configuration for funk, lighter rock, and many more musical styles that need a less warm, more typical sound. I also bought a used 13" extra heavy bottom hat that works amazingly with both of these cymbals as 'top hats'. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Beautiful instrument
Size: 14"
I bought this cymbal because I play in small venues and this cymbal has enough cut to mix with my bandmates but is not overwhelming. Great chick and works well with brushes.

  • Jazz thins: Incredible.
Size: 15"
Unbelievable hats. You dont need to play jazz with these. Theyre just thin and dark. So amazing.
