Being in the film production business for many years, I have most often used Pelican cases for my gear. I recently bought a small mirrorless camera gimble and decided to try the Meijia case. I haven't had a chance to see how waterproof the seal is (thankfully) so I can't speak to that. I don't feel it's quite as sturdy as my Pelicans, but for lighter duty use, it's been great.

Using this box to protect and transport a Roland SPD-SX and it's mount. It does that easily and for a reasonable cost. We've been really happy with it keeping the SPD-SX safe as it's an integral part of my band's shows now.

I got this to haul my silly huge gaming laptop around in. Fits with an inch or so on every side. I put my mouse and the two power bricks in the bottom/base foam layer, then an intervening full foam, then a cut out layer for the laptop, and then the egg-carton layer in the lid. Feels totally safe and secure now to throw it in the trunk.
