A little goes a LONG way with this baby, and it is very full coverage. I bought the larger container because I thought I would burn through it, but after two uses I have barely even scrapped the top. And yes, this makeup feels heavy and gross, so if you can't commit to the costume-- don't do it. I will say, application with a blending brush is so much better than using a beauty sponge (mine disintegrated into the makeup tub and I had to scrape it off). And yes, if you want to wear this, you need to PACK ON THAT POWDER. Otherwise it transfers like crazy. The first wear, I wore it to a Halloween party and every single person I hugged had white on their costumes (sorry). So the second wear (on Halloween at work), I applied enough powder for it not to transfer, and it held it in place nicely. Not only does this makeup transfer without properly setting it with translucent powder, but it also creases so bad. Pls pls pls if you get this, get some powder to set it with, or else you will regret it. 1st 3 pics: from beginning of the day next 3: at the end of the shift (why so serious? yeah I know)

I bought this product for a Halloween costume. My husband was IT the clown and I was really a fan of the product. Last year, he was the joker and I purchased a similar product and didn’t have the same experience, it was chalky and not buildable. It also came out in chunks. This product on the other hand was very smooth and we were able to apply and spread easily but it wasn’t too thin like some others I’ve seen. Some of the whites can be watery, but not this product. We ended up doing two layers and that’s the beauty of the product, because it’s definitely buildable. I applied with a makeup sponge (you know the white multi pack you can buy at Walmart) I thought it was very good coverage and it lasted all night long! We stayed at the Halloween party for 4 hours and he still looked great by the end of it. Getting it off was not terrible…. Then again, I did send him in there myself and he was probably using hand soap 😂 but when he came out, it was mostly gone, aside from the spots he didn’t see. I will definitely purchase again in the future if needed! Btw, this is not a promotional review or paid review! Just my honest opinion on a product I loved!

Love this product!! However, lots of loose powder is a MUST if you want the finish to be matte and relatively transfer-proof. I got this product and the Mehron loose setting powder to do clown makeup and I was really excited. Did my first look and was still excited, but disappointed by how greasy and smudgeable the white base was. Second look and I did multiple layers of the white base to create a smoother, whiter look. Then I packed a TON of the powder all over my face with a damp beauty blender. That was the key!! Now the base is beautifully matte and surprisingly transfer-proof! You can lightly touch or drag your fingers over it and they come away with only a teensy powder transfer - no grease. The third picture is my makeup after a 5 hour nap as a side sleeper! There’s not even any white on the black pillow I sleep with. TLDR: works great, looks great, doesn’t feel too heavy on the skin. Needs lots of loose powder to achieve a matte look with no smudging or transfer.

Great base for Corpse paint and goth looks, it does take a while to dry but thats fine. Worth the $11.50 USD i bought it for and you really dont need alot to cover your face, i'd estimate you can use it 100 times to cover your face before it runs out.

This clown makeup works very well. Stays put and does not smudge. If you want it to last long, just use white face powder over it or translucent powder on it and it will stay on all night. 😉 Very happy with my purchase. Highly recommend. Will buy again. I got the name of this product after watching a YouTube video of Gene Simmons giving a tutorial of how to apply KISS face make-up. It worked great. It was full coverage, and very white once applied. It was not transparent at all like a lot of white halloween make-up that is sold. It was not dry or cakey, and did not crack. It was kind of thick, and tacky, but if you need full opaque coverage I reccommend this (As does Gene Simmons himself). It was a bit difficult to get off. I had to wipe it off (A couple of times) with pre-moistened Wet-Ones wipes, and then try to wash off the rest with soap. My skin was a little irritated afterward... I think mostly form having to wipe a lot. My skin was fine after that. It ultimately did the job for my costume as Paul Stanley Form KISS. Great effectiveness. Was easy to apply.

You will definitely need to purchase some sort of setting spray, as this makeup smudges like crazy. I wasn't a huge fan of this makeup, but will try again with a primer and setting spray. It was really drying on my skin and all my pores and wrinkles were visible. I guess one positive is that it came off easily for me when I washed my face...
