Description

Meguiar's Quik Car Scratch Eraser Kit erases fine scratches and removes paint blemishes quickly and with minimal effort. This car care kit includes Meguiar's proprietary 4" Scratch Eraser drill-mounted pad, a 4 oz bottle of Meguiar's ScratchX and a premium microfiber towel. Meguiar's ScratchX is a car scratch remover that uses exclusive super micro-abrasive technology to effortlessly remove blemishes from your car. The car scratch removal pad uses the power of your drill to quickly erase light scratches, scuffs and paint transfer. After mounting the pad on your drill, shake the ScratchX car scratch repair well and apply a small amount to the pad in an X pattern. Place the pad flat on the scratch and use medium speed to make four to six overlapping passes. Repeat as needed until the defect is not noticeable. Remove excess ScratchX from the Scratch Eraser Pad into a clean, damp towel several times, then polish the affected area with four to six light, overlapping passes. Remove remaining residue with the microfiber towel. Be sure to follow with a car wax like Meguiar’s Ultimate Quik Wax or Meguiar’s Ultimate Liquid Wax to protect and beautify the newly corrected area, along with the rest of your car. Not for use on matte or satin finishes.

After our car got scratched in a parking lot, I was looking into quick-fixes. There were a few scuffs and transfer marks, but the main scratch looked a bit deeper. I couldn't quite catch it with my fingernail, but it did seem deeper than the others. After reading reviews and doing some online research, I figured I would try Meguiar's Quick Scratch Kit.I gave it a try on a cloudy/shaded day, on my 12v cordless drill applying "medium" pressure as the packaging directed. While I was completely able to get out the scuffs and transfer marks, the main scratch did NOT completeley come out. It looks significantly better, but is still noticeable upon close inspection. I do question whether I applied enough pressure, but was mindful of not applying too much pressure in an effort to avoid any potential damage. Overall I was happy with the product and will continue to use it on scuffs and other light scratches. ... show more

After my kids distracted me in the backseat and I scraped the side of the garage while backing in, I thought I was going to have to either drive a car that looks busted or shell out a lot if cash to have it taken care of. I thought I'd give this a try first and all I can say is WOW! The before and after pics speak for themselves. There's a few spots where the scraped on paint was really bad that are still remaining, but will try to work on those more another day. I should note the lower portion closest to the bottom that looks unchanged I didn't work on yet. This took me about 10 minutes to do. I am so shocked and impressed by the results. I have removed four scratches on my new car bought in 2022, it works like a charm, you may not even need to polish the fixed area after applying this compound. But I would prefer to polish it for even better results! If your car has light scratches, don't be afraid, using a drill with this product, your life is good. This stuff was great!! For $20 it is not bad at all. Works excellent on small scratches/paint transfers. I used it because I accidentally hit a wall. I wasn’t expecting a whole lot because the damage is a bit bad. But it took off most of the paint. You do really have to work the drill with the product. But take your time and work it in swirls slowly and most stuff comes off. 10/10 would recommend ... show more

All this just from the Scratch-X!!! My car was hit in the parking lot and left me with clear coat scratches, paint scratches, some bare metal, broken tail light, and 2 dents. I ordered the Scratch Eraser Kit that included Scratch-X, a microfiber towel, and a magical “Scratch Eraser Drill Mounted Pad,” which I used by hand (I’m no car person and don’t own whatever drill it goes with hah) Magical!!! Super easy to use - I put an X of the Scratch-X on the blue pad & rubbed in light circular motions until the scratch disappeared or until the Scratch-X ran out, in which case I wiped the excess off my car, reapplied some Scratch-X to the pad, and used a little heavier pressure until each disappeared. I have a black Challenger and one day while washing it I accidentally hit it with the hose and it left rub makes on it that wouldn't just scrub off. I bought this kit and it worked perfect no more marks. It worked so well that I used it on little scratches my dogs made and they also came out.
