    • A Must Have for Any Serious Car Buff

I absolutely love this stuff. If you are serious car buff and like to keep you vehicles looking their best this is a must have product. I came across detail spray for the first time when I used clay bar on my black 2007 300C. As part of the process of using clay bar you keep the surface wet with detailing spray. After the clay bar process you apply wax. Anyone who owns a black vehicle knows how the wax can smudge when being removed leaving wax swirls behind that can be hard to get off without a lot of elbow grease or a buffer. What I found is using detail spray and micro fiber clothe, after removing the bulk of the wax, makes getting the rest of the wax off, and any smudging left behind, super easy. And it really brings out the shine. After I ran out of the original detail spray that came with the clay bar kit I purchased the Meguiar's Ultimate Quick Detailer. I am a huge fan of the Meguiar's Ultimate Liquid Wax and wanted to stay with the product line. This stuff if the bomb. I use it like I described after waxing a vehicle, but I also use it every time I wash my car as well. Even though the Meguiar's wax hold up real well, the detail spray adds a polymer coating that makes the car's surface feel like glass and any water just beads up. The micro fiber clothes just slide across the surface. In fact if you leave something on top of the car be careful it will slide right off - no joke. It only take a few extra minutes after drying to quickly spray and buff out the vehicle using micro fiber clothes. I normally just do the horizontal surfaces that get the most sun exposure and it really beings out the shine and extends the time between waxing too. Seriously I wax my car maybe once or twice a summer (I store my car over the winter) and the combination of the Meguiar's wax and detail spray keeps water beading up the entire summer. And my car is not kept in the garage either. I also spray it on my sunroof glass and windows and it acts like any of the rain repellent sprays on the market so there is that too. So yes, I definitely recommend this product.....however, there is one caveat when it comes to this product working as it should. You need a very smooth surface for it to be at it's best. And in my opinion and years of experience, the only way to achieve that smooth surface is to clay bar your vehicle. I would guess that any negative reviews on this product are related to the surface not being smooth like glass. Yes it will still work without a clay bar finish, but the difference is pretty significant. To be honest, I have not read the reviews since it does not matter. I know what I am talking about....trust me. Do yourself a favor and clay bar your vehicle. It is not that difficult - I do it every spring, and the results are nothing short of amazing. Even a brand new car needs clay bar. Just sitting on the lot they can get contaminants on the surface that can only be removed with clay bar. If you run your hand on the surface of your car or truck's hood or deck, and it makes a noise like rubbing on paper and does not feel like glass, your car needs to be clay barred.     • Perfect detailer, just perfect!

Bought for detailing my motorcycles - a bit skeptical of "spray on wipe off" chemicals but was pleasantly surprised at what a great job this product does. I have a number of motorcycles and a good friend who is a photographer will often ask me to ride a specific bike of mine to his studio for a photo-shoot. As usual, his models get smudges and fingerprints all over my bikes - so now I always put a bottle in the saddlebag along with a Meguiar's Supreme Shine Microfiber Towel. Spray on and wipe off right there after the shoot - no more fingerprints, and revives (immediately) the shine on my bike's finish (in less time than 1 beer!).     • This is a Must Have for Serious Detailers

I'm a chauffer. My ride has to be impeccable at all times and using every single product out there has been costly; however, I've just landed the best of the best with this company's products. They are ready to use even in the hottest climates and under direct sun. That's; like, REMARKABLE, of itself. Another plus is that they take the ridin', slidin' and keep on shinin'. Even after two weeks of daily quick car washes at the gas and go, it still beads the water and shines like the sun. It did away with all the swirls deflecting the brilliant shine and I must share that I truly enjoy it when my riders mention my cool, shiny ride and ask if it's a brand new car. Nope. It's not; however, the wax is en-pointe and the tires are wet-looking, pitch black shining for weeks after one application. This is a money saver for those whose rides must be impeccable at all times. Oh, by the way, invest in a professional OZONE Air purifier, cleaner and disinfectant for your ride. Good ones are anywhere from $25 and up. Ur car will look brilliant, AND have that new car smell. I'm a heavy smoker and I smoke in my car after I'm done for the day. No one would know because I use an air purifier to completely clean the air of any killer germs, including the toxic smelling cigarette smoke. Use Meguires for all of your car needs ... show more

    • Superbly safe, easy, and shiny, but not so durable

I've been using this product for years. I use it in various home-made concentrations on my car, my kitchen and bath tile, my kitchen cabinets, and even my laminate floors (in a concentration of 1 ounce per 16 ounces of water spray and a microfiber mop, it's the best laminate floor cleaner I know of - bar none!). As for cars, it's not good for deep cleaning or restoring car finishes that are in bad condition. You need an old-fashioned paste or "lotion" style car wax product for that. What this excels at is cleaning, maintaining, and shining - really shining - finishes that are relatively clean and in good condition. It's not particularly durable, but none of the shiniest products that don't haze your car finish are - none of them - this seems to be a necessary trade off. The best way to use this as a car wax, is to start with a clean car, spray a few squirts onto a wet microfiber cloth, apply it to the car surface in sections - almost as if you were washing that section of the car (it won't hurt or stick to anything - glass, plastic cladding, tires, emblems), then immediately wipe/dry/polish it off with a clean, dry, terry cloth or absorbent (not all are) microfiber towel. It doesn't take a lot of product using this method, which yields the cleanest, shiniest result. If you try to use it by spraying it full strength then wiping it off, it can leave a cloudy/irregular "haze" (which does wipe off - this stuff will not harm your finish unless your finish is dirty/dusty). It's great stuff and nothing I know of leaves a better, cleaner shine. ... show more

The synthetic was last a long time. Important in Phoenix summer temperatures. Car looks great. Not as easy to remove as Meguires NXT that costs $10 more for same quantity. The car is easier to keep clean with a quality protection
