I just got done using this product for the 2nd time on my Dodge Charger and am really blown away. This stuff leaves an AMAZING shine, similar to the shine from waxing. I couldn’t stop looking at it after I was done drying. It even feels like you just applied wax, super slippery. The only part I don’t really like is this soap has no suds whatsoever. After a couple minutes of sitting in the bucket it looks just like regular water. I guess it’s something I’ll have to get used to. This stuff is amazing. It's not your typical soap. Not very foamy. If your car has a load of mud, maybe not the right product for you. But if it's a bit dirty, and you want an AMAZING hydrophobic wax - this is what you're looking for. I washed my little convertible with this, and looked up, and all the water drops on the windshield were running down, ditto the hood. Like water couldn't bear to be in contact with my car. Amazing. So reading other reviews I am seeing where people are going wrong. In my experience over almost 2 months now this is the best solution to save time while cleaning your car and adding protection. This product will work very well even with a microfiber cloth, but it’s definitely built to use with the wash mitt they specifically designed for this wash. Going along with the process they designed while using the mitt will clean your car very well, but if you are using the mitt and your car is very soiled I’d recommend giving it a good pre wash rinse and maybe even a good wash before you get into the process of using this product. Easy application. It does not Sud up well. I would consider this product an after wash. I would only apply this product after using a good quality soap that has sudsing capability. Once your car is clean and prewashed apply this product, it will seem like you're just spreading water around, but it does provide a finish that allows for good water beading. I just wouldn't trust it strictly as a wash, it's not hydrophobic enough to grab dust/dirt, in my opinion of course. Works great on ceramic coated car. It’s a little odd that it’s very “sudsy” until you add the ceramic booster. Then the suds go away. But it works great. I do recommend using their hybrid wash mitt, it compliments this soap very well as it was designed to do.

Does not beed water any better than the regular Meguire’s wash and wax in the yellow bottle. Does not foam up inside of a bucket so you cannot tell where the soap is on your car, it looks like you’re just smearing water everywhere. Followed the instructions down to a T and it did not perform, not satisfied with the product and definitely will not ever use this again. I would say McGuire's hybrid ceramic wash and wax should be listed more as wax. I've used it four times now and feel that it is more of a "after" wash product than a wash product. It suds up in the bucket and looks like a wash product, as soon as it is on the mitt and applied to the car it's like spreading around oil. I'm guessing that that's the ceramic part or wax part of it. Every time I've used it so far the car is shiny but it does not do a very good job of getting rid of dirt. I had to go through extra steps of washing to get rid of all the dirt whereas using other McGuire's products I just wash it once spray it with their hybrid ceramic wax and dry it off and it's fine. I suggest using McGuire's other car wash I can't think of the name right at the moment but it's yellow and smells fantastic. Follow it up with the use of their hybrid ceramic wax spray that is in a blue bottle. I will not buy this product again I will go back to the other stuff. ... show more

I have used combined wash/wax products for years, and have been happy with them. However, my "Batmobile" (a jet-black, 2008 Mazda Miata Grand Touring roadster with a power hardtop) deserves special treatment, and this Meguiar's product claimed to be just that. I have used it twice now on the Batmobile, and it has a deep, DEEP shine, and when it is unfortunate enough to get caught in the rain, the rain just slides right off. I hope they keep making the stuff, as I will be using it from now on. Oh, and I also bought the Meguiar's "Hybrid Wash Mitt" to go with it, and they work well in tandem.
