    • FUNCTIONAL PLATE CUTTER BUT IT MAY NOT LAST LONG
The unit works! Assembly is NOT that difficult. The cutter forces you to cut away which is always GOOD for safety! Cons: The rotating action of the unit is NOT that smooth. If you try to hand turn the cutter, there is a lot of binding that I can definitely feel. When you install it in your drill, the drill has enough torque to turn the cutter smoothly but that binding action means that there are gears inside the unit that are not meshing perfectly. So while the unit will cut when it is brand new, there is a great chance that the gear will start wearing down. I tried to push WD-40 inside the gears and let it spin using the drill but the resistance (when hand cranked) inside did not go away or even lessen. While it is a functional drill cutter, I would recommend that you shop around for a different brand since there are a lot of similarly priced option in Amazon. DO NOT BUY THIS ONE! ... show more
