I like it! Very nice not having to look for power and putting up being tethered to an electrical cord on the job site. So far have just used this cutting rolled aluminum stock, .012" thick (not sure what gauge that is) and a little bit of ripping vinyl siding panels. Works great! Very accurate and easy to control. The variable speed is a nice feature. Much prefer the scissor type shears to the nibbler type that leaves and 1/4" ribbon. The shears does leave a little bit of a wavy edge but I've been able to control that somewhat by keeping the speed up, not pushing too hard, keeping the shears perpendicular to the stock, and keeping the stock well supported. Not too objectionable unless you need a pristine finished edge. Haven't done much curved cuts but I can see the advantage. The tool is very manageable and not too heavy. ... show more

Just remember, "Measure twice, or more, and cut just once! It is great for simple trim in of a cut that could have been "cleaner" or more accurate. Once you get the "hang of it," for continuous, light pressure in the direction of the cut, it makes the metal - flat or ribbed - feel like butter. Super easy to cut. ... show more

Great tool, really a great advantage over the corded varient, only downside is the lock for head rotation comes loose from tool vibration and is also to easily hit during operation.
