I have purchased several half cases for my camera and this one is by far the best value for the money. At half the price of Bolin and a quarter the price of more expensive brands, this things is fabulous. The leather looks and feels like real leather. Not that the other cases aren't but here is no doubt with this one. Oiled it up and it took a beautiful shine. ALSO, it came with a free neck strap that is nylon and adorned with real leather. You really just can't go wrong here. I don't write too many reviews but felt compelled on this one. Excellent value, well packaged and complete. Bravo! Got this when I bought my X100V because I wanted the whole retro-package, but ended up taking it off because I like the compactness of the X100V without it. It's a preference thing, but if you are inclined toward these things, this one is a work of art.

I accidentally bought the PU leather and when it came it did not fit my x100v. I didn’t realize it was PU after I made a return, and I never liked PU leather. It’s very flaky. I took a gamble again and buy the real leather one.. It fit perfectly how it supposed to.
