Like most new Fujifilm X100V owners, protecting my camera from inadvertent spills is a priority. There are many more leather cases out there at 3-4X the price and they may be a better quality. However, with what I spent for the camera and the other "must-have" accessories I gave this one a try and am very satisfied. I have no idea what country it came from but it does seem to be well made with all the snaps firmly attaching and just well-fitting/looking overall. The spec that isn’t mentioned anywhere is that the bottom has an aluminum plate the entire length of the camera- the X100 series cameras are notorious for their baseplate being a little flimsy so it’s very nice peace of mind that I can’t damage my camera by placing it down too hard. The leather is very nice feeling, has not chemical smell to it and it will finished on the ends. I bought both colors because I think they both have nice looks. Makes the camera 7mm taller as a result of that plate. You can put a tripod mount on the screw that connects the cover to the camera. Plenty easy to access the battery and card door ... show more

I purchased this camera case as a gift for my sister, and it was the perfect fit for her Fujifilm X 100V. We both really liked it because it protects such a special and expensive camera, but it doesn’t take away from the slim design of the Fujifilm camera. The strap is comfortable adjustable. Absolutely dig this case. It looks sharp and feels very nice. Fits my X100V quite well and is fairly snug. It is perfect for travel as it protects my camera in a suitcase, backpack, or around my neck. I love how I can charge my camera with the case on. Only down side with this case is that when I shoot, the case falls off the camera. The way the case is designed, when you unclip the lens portion, the entire casing falls off if you are not holding the camera from the bottom. Being a manual shooter, I need two hands to shoot, and thats really hard to while keeping the case on. ... show more

The case looks good on my camera, but is not functional. I wanted a retro look to my camera set up, so I purchased this because it looks like it would have everything I need. The strap would be great to have my hands free, the lens and screen cover would keep it protected, and the bottom piece ties it all together. The problem is this is not executed well with this product. The strap has disconnected from both sides of my camera at different times, which fortunately did not result in my camera being dropped. The upper lens/screen cover completely comes off, so you need to have a bag or somewhere to stow it while you want to use your camera. The bottom piece screws into the bottom of the camera and it has fallen off more times than I can count; so much so that I nearly lost it while walking around with my camera around my neck. TLDR; If you want a case that looks good but you'll be constantly worrying it will fall apart, get this case. ... show more

I accidentally bought the PU leather and when it came it did not fit my x100v. I didn’t realize it was PU after I made a return, and I never liked PU leather. It’s very flaky. I took a gamble again and buy the real leather one.. It fit perfectly how it supposed to.
