I needed to test a relative's glucose for just a few days; this seemed like a good solution and said it came with everything you need. No - the control solution you are supposed to calibrate with BEFORE first use is missing. And it takes two weeks to arrive, and costs almost as much as the entire test kit did. This is ridiculous. (Other brands also force you to order solution separately - but why can't they tell you this? This is a life-threatening health condition management tool, not some cosmetic.) ... show more

I bought this item because it seem all i needed will be in the box, but my first test it came back a number as 352, it was crazy. I tested the next day, it came back as Lo. So it either supper high or supper low. Further read into the instruction that i will need to also buy a "control solution testing" to test the accuracy of the meter. But already in my mind this meter is not working and not what i wanted, i tried return on Amazon, it wanted me to contact the manufacturer. That means they will not accepting returns, instead will tell you to buy the Control Solution Testing. What a way to make another sell!! ... show more

Purchased in Aug 2021 for Ambulatory Surgery Center. Worked well while it lasted. Stopped working February 2023 so lasted only 1.5 yrs

Bought this for monitoring afternoon BS crashes. Turn on and go, simple to use. Additional strips are fairly cheap.

False advertising. In the starter kit description it states the starter kit contains everything needed. After reading the user guide, it states that it is recommended to use their control solution when setting up your Evencare G2 blood glucose monitoring system, and each time with every new bottle of test strips. Oh, by the way the control solution cost $25.00 which only $5,91 less than what the Blood Glucose Monitoring System cost! Since they state that the starter kit contains everything you need, they should include the control solution. Otherwise, don’t state that it contains everything you need!! Shame on Amazon for allowing this company to state false advertising!! ... show more
