Would absolutely recommend if you're looking to clean up the air and/or remove odors. I bought this first thing after buying a new home. The house itself is old, so it had lots of years of dust and particle build up from previous owners. Which gave me some issues with allergies (runny nose, sneezing, coughing, etc). I picked this out after a bunch of research on air purifiers in hopes it would help. I can say it definitely has helped and has been my favorite purchase related to my new home so far. I've been using it for about 4 months now and it's been great. It cleared up my allergy issues pretty quick. It definitely does a good job of removing particles from the air. I use it in different rooms of the house and leave it going for a while when I either want some air flow, or to freshen up the room. My house and it's rooms aren't too large, so this fan is more than enough to move multiple rooms worth of air in a short time. This actually does a great job of removing smells from the air too. I didn't necessarily buy the air purifier for this, but have been happily surprised at how well it works for odor removal. Neighbors smoke, so it helps cut that scent a bit if I want to have the windows open. I've used it in the kitchen a decent amount to cut down on the smell of strong foods or smoke when food has accidentally gotten burnt (oops). I can leave this running in a room over night and it'll remove any lingering smells by morning. In the 4 months of having it the filter seems like it's still got a lot of life before I need to even think about replacing it. If you use it heavily daily or in environments thick with dust, particles, or intense smells it might not last as long? Very quiet on the lowest settings. Only used it in the bedroom overnight a few times. I do enjoy that the lights can be mostly turned off. The only feedback I would give to Medify for this model (M-50 V3.0) is maybe find a way to add a carrying handle or loop of some sort to the top? It can be kind of awkward to pick up and carry from room to room as it's a bit bulky in size. Definitely not worth taking a star away though.

I was surprised that such a small air filter had such a high rating and was designed for such a large space but once I received it I turned it on and the little bit of odor that was in the house from the 2 cats was taken care of almost immediately even on its lowest setting. It is virtually silent on its lowest setting. It is an incredibly powerful fan on its highest setting. I was glad to see that the touchscreen had a child lock display so my cats can’t change the settings on it when I leave it on if they decide to mess with it. The only real complaint that I have about this particular device is that the power light flashes constantly when it’s off. I don’t see any reason for this extra use of power especially when it has a timer that you can set to have it automatically turn off. I imagine that it’s probably so that you can turn it on even in the dark but it’s kind of a needless feature. I mean seriously who is going to turn on an air filter in a dark room? Other than that it has been excellent. I have asthma and allergies and two cats so this is exactly what I needed to be able to help me breathe a little bit better. Definitely worth the money especially because the filters are so easy to take in and out. I was really excited to see that as long as you submit your filter changes every four months to this company they actually have a lifetime warranty on this product that comes in the box for you with all the information that you need to take care of the filter changes. Honestly I think the only people who would review a product like this poorly are people who either got a damaged product due to shipping or manufacturing issues or somebody who didn’t pay attention when ordering. It does say that it includes “two sets” of filters which is a little unclear. Because the unit takes two filters I figured it was probably a skirt around what would be considered “false advertising.” I was right. Do not expect to get an extra SET of filters with this device. It comes with the 2 filter set to put in the device initially. It does not come with a spare. Quite frankly though, I didn’t expect it to have another set to begin with, and if you do expect to have another set, I have one particular turn of phrase for you: you get what you pay for. This was a good price for an air filter. You shouldn’t be expecting an extra set of filters for this price. Most air filters are over $200 if they’re good ones. If you are willing to pay the extra $40 with this, then you can order another set of filters with it very easily. Now, the reason I added this to my review is because I actually saw people complain about this issue, but its exactly what you should expect.

We live in a big city so air purifiers to help reduce air particles / dust are important. We also have 2 cats and 2 kids and a good friend with a cat allergy so need something that works well. We bought this unit for our living/dining/kitchen area which is just about 1000sf. Out of the box, this unit was super easy to get started and immediately began clearing the air - the sun was shining through the window so we could literally see the dust flow towards the unit's 2 filters! Here are the PROS IMO: 1. Filters are super easy to clean and change - the covers easily pinch to pull off (though would not be easy for a small kid to do) and the filers have a tab to pull out. I vacuum the layer of dust that collect on the outside of the filter, then change every 6-12 months). The outer cover can also easily be cleaned with plain soap and water since it is 100% removable. 2. Sound / speeds - there are 3 speeds on this unit. The first level is almost totally silent yet you can still feel a slight breeze from the output. the second is what I would describe as a light fan sound. The third speed is definitely louder and output stronger so we use it when cooking / cleaning or need to purify the entire room quickly for guests. What I do like about the 3rd setting is that it creates a good "white noise" for sleeping and drowns out "city noise" and other background noise. 3. Portable - this unit is light weight and easy to carry from room to room. We transfer it to the kids rooms when they have friends over then back to the kitchen area when cooking, then to the bedroom at night. 4. Cost - this was less expensive than many other comparable units that cover large rooms 5. Style - this has a nice, clean, modern style that can blend into any room. CONS well, none yet! If there was an additional feature I would like to see it would be a sensor of just how clean the air is. I highly recommend this unit!

I bought this to replace my old Honeywell which filtered down to 2 microns. This filters stuff down to 1 micron- double-which should handle everything. It's small, lightweight. On the lowest speed you can't even hear it. On the highest I wish it was a bit louder as I use it as white noise to block sounds in the rest of the house when I sleep. I also like that the light can be turned off, a feature my last one didn't have. I would have given it 5 stars but for the price of the replacement filters- and 2 are required for every change.

I bought this thinking that it would do very little in terms of scrubbing the air for dust and debris. I had read some reviews stating that it didn't do anything for them, and that it was not as good as X or Y product. This has not been my experience at all. I have owned this for over a year now, and it collects MASSIVE amounts of dust that I didn't even know existed. At the first filter replacement interval, I wiped the surface of the filter media, just out of curiosity to see how much dust it had actually accumulated. I was genuinely horrified and relieved at the same time when I saw the results. Horrified because the sheer amount of dust this unit collected on the filters was staggering. I didn't even know the air could be so dirty. I was relieved though because all that dust was now on these filters and not in my lungs. I can definitely say that my lungs have felt better, and I can breathe easier at night since I've purchased this unit. For reference, I run it at max speed throughout the day, every day, when I'm not in the room. Then I turn it down to the lowest setting and leave it running while I sleep. The noise is barely noticeable on the lowest setting, and it's placed within 3 feet of my ears. My only complaints are that #1 the filter replacements are quite expensive, but I guess it's fair since it actually is doing what they claim, and #2 when I bought this, it was about $200 for the single unit, and now I see that they have a 2-for-1 deal going on for these. I would have preferred to buy the 2-for-1 back then instead of the single. I'm honestly really happy that I bought this one, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again if I needed to.

Excellent air purifier. I keep it on most of the time. Really helps clean dust and odors from the sir. I bought one during Covid in 2018 and just got another one like it. So far, worth the price. They also help circulate cool air.

This works like a champ. I've got it next to the litter box in my basement and it has elimated that odor in my house completely. Bought on 10/8/24, it runs 24/7 on medium and is still working great. I'd love another one for my dog's room but the price has increased from $80 in late 2024 to almost $150 a year and a half later. Pretty sure that's tariff related but also doubt that when the tariff driver is gone the price will reduce. If it does, I'll buy more. If you are willing to spend the extra $$ for no real reason its a great little purifier.
