Who this is for: I have seasonal allergies and two shedding dogs, and needed a unit powerful enough for my large open living/kitchen/dining area (~1,200 sq ft). I also wanted something relatively quiet for overnight use. How I used it: I ran the Medify MA-112 PRO continuously for 3 weeks — mostly on auto mode during the day and low mode overnight. The unit was placed centrally in the living space, with unobstructed airflow around it. I also kept windows closed when pollen counts were high. What I noticed: Right away, there was a noticeable reduction in airborne dust and pet dander within the first 48 hours. After a week, the air felt less “stuffy,” and I was waking up with fewer allergy symptoms than usual for this time of year. The automatic sensor seems responsive; the fan speed adjusted appropriately when I cooked or when more dust circulated. I bought this thinking that it would do very little in terms of scrubbing the air for dust and debris. I had read some reviews stating that it didn't do anything for them, and that it was not as good as X or Y product. This has not been my experience at all. I have owned this for over a year now, and it collects MASSIVE amounts of dust that I didn't even know existed. At the first filter replacement interval, I wiped the surface of the filter media, just out of curiosity to see how much dust it had actually accumulated. I was genuinely horrified and relieved at the same time when I saw the results. Horrified because the sheer amount of dust this unit collected on the filters was staggering. I didn't even know the air could be so dirty. I was relieved though because all that dust was now on these filters and not in my lungs. I can definitely say that my lungs have felt better, and I can breathe easier at night since I've purchased this unit. For reference, I run it at max speed throughout the day, every day, when I'm not in the room. Then I turn it down to the lowest setting and leave it running while I sleep. The noise is barely noticeable on the lowest setting, and it's placed within 3 feet of my ears. My only complaints are that #1 the filter replacements are quite expensive, but I guess it's fair since it actually is doing what they claim, and #2 when I bought this, it was about $200 for the single unit, and now I see that they have a 2-for-1 deal going on for these. I would have preferred to buy the 2-for-1 back then instead of the single. I'm honestly really happy that I bought this one, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again if I needed to.

Excellent air purifier. I keep it on most of the time. Really helps clean dust and odors from the sir. I bought one during Covid in 2018 and just got another one like it. So far, worth the price. They also help circulate cool air.

This is a good air filter. I'd purchased one for my bedroom, and even running at the low setting, it noticeably cleans the air. There are a few quirks that could have been done better, but rather than trying a different filter (and needing to buy two different sets of replacement filter elements) I'd bought a second one for my living room. The good: It's quiet, it's easy to use, it's lightweight, the visual design is pretty, and it fits in my space – almost. The quirks: The power cord plugs in the back, which means that the unit can't be placed next to a wall. It has to be about 2 inches away from the wall. The sides and the front can't go next to a wall either because that's where the air vents are. The control panel is on the top. There is space on the front where the control panel could go, but it's on the top. Unfortunately, this means that you can't put anything on top of the unit. It's the perfect size to put down a book you're reading on, but you can't. Also, good luck explaining to your cat or bird that they cannot perch on top of the unit.. The indicators are integral to the control buttons, not adjacent to them, this means that you cannot blackout the indicator lights with black tape without interfering with the controls. There is a button to dim the controls, but that button also glows, but it is significantly dimmer than the other buttons. However, if the unit is off, the power button flashes, and the dim functionality does not work. In my bedroom I find the dim function sufficiently dim, and the fan quiet enough to sleep nearby, but if I want to turn it off when sleeping, I need to unplug the cord to turn of the flashing power button, and that's annoying. But again, it's a good air filter, and despite the quirks, it's good enough for me to buy a second one.

Would absolutely recommend if you're looking to clean up the air and/or remove odors. I bought this first thing after buying a new home. The house itself is old, so it had lots of years of dust and particle build up from previous owners. Which gave me some issues with allergies (runny nose, sneezing, coughing, etc). I picked this out after a bunch of research on air purifiers in hopes it would help. I can say it definitely has helped and has been my favorite purchase related to my new home so far. I've been using it for about 4 months now and it's been great. It cleared up my allergy issues pretty quick. It definitely does a good job of removing particles from the air. I use it in different rooms of the house and leave it going for a while when I either want some air flow, or to freshen up the room. My house and it's rooms aren't too large, so this fan is more than enough to move multiple rooms worth of air in a short time. This actually does a great job of removing smells from the air too. I didn't necessarily buy the air purifier for this, but have been happily surprised at how well it works for odor removal. Neighbors smoke, so it helps cut that scent a bit if I want to have the windows open. I've used it in the kitchen a decent amount to cut down on the smell of strong foods or smoke when food has accidentally gotten burnt (oops). I can leave this running in a room over night and it'll remove any lingering smells by morning. In the 4 months of having it the filter seems like it's still got a lot of life before I need to even think about replacing it. If you use it heavily daily or in environments thick with dust, particles, or intense smells it might not last as long? Very quiet on the lowest settings. Only used it in the bedroom overnight a few times. I do enjoy that the lights can be mostly turned off. The only feedback I would give to Medify for this model (M-50 V3.0) is maybe find a way to add a carrying handle or loop of some sort to the top? It can be kind of awkward to pick up and carry from room to room as it's a bit bulky in size. Definitely not worth taking a star away though.

This works like a champ. I've got it next to the litter box in my basement and it has elimated that odor in my house completely. Bought on 10/8/24, it runs 24/7 on medium and is still working great. I'd love another one for my dog's room but the price has increased from $80 in late 2024 to almost $150 a year and a half later. Pretty sure that's tariff related but also doubt that when the tariff driver is gone the price will reduce. If it does, I'll buy more. If you are willing to spend the extra $$ for no real reason its a great little purifier.

Medify Medical Filtration Air Purifier When I placed an order, there was a notification that this item will take longer to be delivered. I received it a few days earlier that the expected delivery date - wonderful! I turn it in the kitchen after cooking. The cooking smell was gone. But the main reason for this purchase is help clean the air in house due to the smell of smoke of the fires - which about an hour or so away. We kept our Windows & doors for days, but we can smell the smoke throughout the house. I ran this on low speed and can only barely hear a hum. On another note, I turned the fan speed to the highest setting (there is also a medium speed). The sound is louder but it is more of an even fan sound, like air blowing. I can fall asleep with this on. Timer works just fine & turns off silently that I forgot I set the timer on. There is a child lock on top with the other functions, but I don't need to use it. Lastly, the function buttons need a light touch. It feels touching a digital screen but it isn't. Overall, it is a pricey purchase but worth it. (After previously purchasing 2 other brand air purifier & replacing it 2 twice before it is a year old. ) I could smell the difference with the Medify. July 2022 - update. I run this air purifier quite a bit. It still functions normally. On this specific model, there is no indicator to change out the filter. Since I bought it, I changed the filter out probably 1 yr to 1.5 years. I should have checked the filters sooner. There are two filters in one order: one for the front panel and for the back panel of the unit. Lastly, I suggest not to put the air purifier unit flushed against the wall, but away from the wall. I still recommend this air purifier.
