Beware: The warranty will become void if you do not purchase new filters every few months, irrespective of whether you operate the purifier 24x7. I would guess that 90% of buyers will fall into that trap. The purifier is extremely quiet on low (=sleep) speed, and even on medium speed we could hold a dinner table conversation in the same room. The top speed is acceptable if you're not trying to sleep, talk, or watch TV. Not much air gets cleaned on the lower speeds, however, so the MA-15 is best suited for rooms approximately 12x12, with doors kept closed. I originally bought it to alleviate paint odors when I use the living room as my art studio. I live in a very small house that generates quite a bit of dust, and also funnels cooking smells everywhere. I keep this machine on a low setting 24/7 in the living room. After broiling fish or pan-searing meat, I turn it to high for just an hour or two. I have noticed a reduction of dust in the room, though not the whole house. I bought the product at full price $195 then a few days later it went on sale for $145! Wish I had waited ! I can’t say if it’s any good yet- it’s not silent but not to loud but if you are using it in a room where you have to record or do zoom meetings or classes then it probably won’t work out during those times - - it does blow out cool air so that will be nice for summer - my daughter said it smells like it’s out gassing and won’t run it in her room so I’ll try it in another room- I didn’t notice the smell. for noise level I give it a three - it’s hard to say what good air is supposed to feel like but I’m hoping for less allergy symptoms so I’ll update after I use this for a few more weeks - I do have a giant system in the main house this is just for the bedrooms using them at night now and not the day because of the noise factor and running them for 15 hours. ... show more

SIMPLE and direct and no issues l'm aware of with the MEDIFY air scrubber. In fact, l now own five. Two of this model and their largest sized unit. What was most reassuring to me was ... going to my dentist's office and (after my purchases weeks earlier) seeing that he and several other medical professionals bought Medify units for all the offices, waiting room, etc. Great product. Wish they'd price replacement filters a bit more modestly. That's my biggest issue: cost of replacement filters. It ain't cheap - folks. So anyone who lives in the western part of the US is probably having trouble breathing. I don’t have asthma or anything but me and my husband and even our cats were coughing this past week from all the wildfire smoke. I had enough and ordered these. Plugged them in at 6pm when I got home from work and it’s 9:30 now and I’m already breathing better. I live in a 900 sqft apartment. I have these in bedrooms that are 10'x12' and they don't seem to be working well. They don't eliminate odors and we are waking up congested. . I replaced my Air Doctor with one of these (moved Air Doctor to main living space) and I am very disappointed

I couldn't be more pleased with these air purifiers. After ordering, I saw a lot of reviews mentioning month-long shipping delays and got worried.
