Should be 4.5 stars. The cabinet looks pretty good installed. This was the deepest cabinet I could find and was JUST able to fit my Sony receiver (which was quite deep). A couple notable items: 1) I separately purchased and installed casters instead of fixed legs, and that makes it much easier to move around. Would have been good to include in the package. 2) I was also able to reverse the door direction by swapping the left and right facing panels, as the holes lined up just fine. The only (slight) change was to install the kick-plate on other side of top panel. There were no prior holes there, but easy to make and install after measuring the original holes on other side. This functionality would be nice to indicate in manual. 3) There were a couple minor chips in the panels, but not significant enough to detract from overall package. 4) Wish the width was 1 to 2 inches wider for better breathability of components. But I could not find any other wider cabinet that was this deep and did not cost a fortune.

I am pretty happy with the cabinet. It is shorter than my previous stereo cabinet and I may need to custom build a box to put on top of this cabinet for the turntable. The big thing was the feet, it did not come with rollers. I of course did not use the included feet, instead I purchased very nice rollers and now I can easily move the cabinet to clean the floor. IF you decide to install any type of rollers also, make sure to PRE-Drill your holes. I used rollers that have a large metal plate that attaches to the bottom AND side of the cabinet, on the side of the roller mount I also used machine screws 8-32 that were an inch and a half long, a large fender washer with lock ring and nut on the cabinet inside to insure a strong rigid connection. The machine screws needed to be cut off with a Dremel Cutting tool because they were a bit too long. My only worry is Ventilation on the cabinet sides. VERY LARGE Amplifiers get HOT. I am anticipating cutting holes in the cabinet sides for air circulation.

Great media cabinet with tons of space. Sturdy build and it definitely has a quality feel to it. It was large enough to fit my laserdisc player inside, though just barely. The cabinet came well packed and was easy to assemble. My only complaints were some of the pieces had minor scratches and I wish the door was reversible.

I can’t even give it 1star..I should have just saved my money .its cheaply made..I did everything right until putting it together,the wood cracked and there no fixing it.so I put it in the trash.l

This unit arrived with no assembly instructions. The right side panel and rear side panels aligned well, but the left side panel pre-drilled holes, where the dowels go, were at least 1" too low and would not align with where the cam-locks were. Rather than mess with the hassle of returning the entire unit, we bought "L" brackets from the hardware store to finish assembly. The holes in the back panel are good in theory, but it makes wiring your components a bit of a pain. It would be better if there were a small channel pre-drilled in the rear center of each shelf so you can run wires from the receiver to various components without the need of running wires out the back of the unit then back in through one of the holes. Door assembly was easy. Unit looks good and accomplishes what we were going for.

I bought this to store my media system. When I put it together it had a chip on it. It is not deep enough to fit my 200 cd player. It is not bad but it is not the best.
