I was looking for a card table to play games on and maybe put a puzzle together but I wanted something a little better than the average card table. I ran across this one and saw all the great reviews and the price was not that much more than the average card table (ya know, the metal legs with plastic type top that grandma had). Anyway, I decided to give it a try, after all it was free returns if I didn't like it. Got it out yesterday and it is a gorgeous table. It looks more like an expensive piece of furniture than a 'card table'. We played several games on it and it worked great with the folding chairs we already had. One thing I might make mention is that this table is heavy, as you might expect being all wood, so if you have a hard time lifting something you may want to look at a more traditional type card table. It's easy to set up; just fold the legs out and stand it up. For putting away; lay on its side and fold the legs in and it stores like any other card table would. As some of the other reviews point out, this table is sturdy. We had it sitting on carpet and it worked great. It felt very secure so on a wood or tile floor it would definitely do well. There is a little bit of a smell when you pull it out of the box but it doesn't stink. Think freshly stained furniture. It's that kind of oder and I'm guessing with exposure to the air it will dissipate over time. I'm more than happy with this table. I may look into the chairs that match it as it makes a really nice ensemble for game night. It would also make a beautiful extra table at holiday time. ... show more

What a gorgeous table. It would be great as extra seating for holiday dinners or as a buffet side table. Of course, it will serve as a lovely card table or spot for making puzzles or LEGOS. Very sturdy and easy to set up—just unfold the legs. It arrived fully assembled and packed in two boxes which protected the lovely wood finish. Excellent, very solid high quality table. Heavy but in a good way & reasonable weight for the size. No assembly required!! Yay!! Easy to move. I love how the legs click into place smoothly & very easy to fold, unfold & store. Sturdy construction & hinges. It will last a very long time. True to color. I gave it a 4 star because there was a scratch on the under side panel which you can see in the last photo, but it’s barely visible. Not worth returning because of that. I may order a second one. So glad I got this. I was considering a cheap white card table & using a table cloth but this is much better! Highly recommend! 😀 ... show more
