Glad to have it in my personal collection for something old that is new again. Interesting category of keyboard here. Membrane keyboards just feel cheap as they are, but there is something about having a nice looking one with unique keycaps like this. I'm not sure I'm sold on it over getting one of the plethora of cheaper mechanical keyboards now available for about $20 more, but it is indeed incredibly quiet and that might be the special use case here. Like, if you have roommates or family members that you do not wish to disturb in a tight space, this could be a great option. I'm actually hoping the membrane action somehow breaks in just a bit after some time of typing with it to where the keys become more consistent, because as I type this I think I'm starting to like it more for the serene and low-effort keypress action. The stroke feels on the long side, but it also has a very mellow tactile bump for the engagement, which I prefer more than the overly sharp click of (for example) a blue mechanical switch. More positives are that the wireless response feels pretty good and not really detectably laggy, with wired mode promising the usual speed these all seem to go these days (8 ms or less). The keycaps have a nice clear lip to them that sort of catches and centers your fingertips, similar to KSH-style keycaps, which I personally really like. The subdued matcha-green color is beautiful; I wish it was just a little more vibrant! The backlighting is about as good as anything else and can do some pretty smooth fades, though several of the presets seem to be programmed to be "jumpy" on purpose. All the F-keys have alternative functions, not printed on the caps themselves, but it comes with a little quick reference manual. ... show more

The MechLands M108 keyboard offers an excellent, quiet typing experience with versatile connectivity and great battery life for both office work and casual gaming. The membrane keys offer a soft, cushioned keystroke that's extremely quiet, perfect for quiet office environments or late-night gaming without disturbing others. Versatile tri-mode connection, switches seamlessly between wireless, Bluetooth, and wired mode, making it easy to pair with PC's laptops and tablets. I had no problem connecting it to my tablet and I love the way the keyboard feels when typing. The built-in battery easily lasts through multiple days of heavy daily use on a single charge. It has a full-size layout, including a dedicated number pad, making it practical for productivity, data entry, and work tasks. The keyboard also includes vibrant RGB backlighting. I like trying different keyboards, and this one looked fun and a little different. The light green color was what caught my eye, and it looks even better in person if you like softer, pastel colors. This matched with a soft LED backlighting looks amazing in low light. The keyboard has a nice amount of weight to it, which helps keep it in place while typing. There are two flip down leg heights for adjustability of the typing angle. I like the tri-mode connectivity since it’s easy to switch between devices, and the lighting effects are subtle rather than distracting. The keys have a different feel than I’m used to. The keycaps are fairly large and the membrane action is a little mushy compared to a mechanical keyboard, but after using it for a while I think it’s something I’ll get used to. My biggest complaint is the build quality. While it feels fine during normal use, there’s noticeable flex if you twist the keyboard from either end. It doesn’t affect typing, but it doesn’t feel as rigid as I expected from the hefty weight. The other thing I noticed is that the light-colored legends on the green keycaps don’t provide much contrast, so they can be hard to read depending on the lighting. If you’re a touch typist or using primarily for gaming it probably won’t matter, but if you glance at the keys often it’s something to keep in mind. Overall, it’s a comfortable keyboard with a unique look and useful features. The flex in the chassis and the low-contrast key legends keep it from being a five-star product for me, but I still think it’s a solid value and have enjoyed using it. ... show more

The MechLands M108 is a solid full-size tri-mode membrane keyboard that focuses on comfort and lower noise while still feeling well built. The avocado or seafoam green color looks even better in person than it does in the product photos, giving it a clean, pleasant look on the desk. The build quality impressed me. It’s surprisingly heavy and sturdy, the keycaps feel comfortable under your fingers, and the overall fit and finish is excellent. It supports both Bluetooth and wired connections, so it’s easy to switch between devices, and it includes a nice quality cable. One thing to keep in mind with this style of membrane keyboard is that the keycaps aren’t really meant to be swapped like a mechanical keyboard, so it’s best to choose the color you want from the start. The quieter typing experience is exactly why I wanted a membrane board, especially for shared workspaces where loud mechanical keyboards can become distracting. My only disappointment is that it’s actually a bit louder than my MechLands M98 membrane keyboard. Since they use what appears to be the same technology, I expected them to sound identical, but the M98 is noticeably quieter. Because of that, I still find myself reaching for the M98 when I want to be as quiet as possible around coworkers. First, I love the color of this keyboard. I'm usually more of a pink girlie but wanted to try something different since I do also like this shade of green. I like that it is full size so I can switch it out to use on my work or home computer. It is quiet to type on so if you work in an office it would be good for that. I usually don't like quiet keyboards but they have grown on me. This is my second one. I like that I can plug it in through the C-port so I don't have to worry about charging it or anything. The green is such a nice pastel. The buttons feel good to type on as well. I really do love this keyboard and plan to keep it in my rotation. ... show more

I got this keyboard to replace a cheap, non lit wired keyboard in my office. This keyboard sits significantly higher up than my old keyboard and every key has a translucent cover with a circular top. It makes the keys feel softer than a normal keyboard, and each press has a tacticle feel, though not necessarily "clicky" like certain name brand keyboards. My only issue with the keyboard is that looking at it from a 45 degree angle, it's very difficult to see the top row of number keys. I usually prefer the top row of number keys compared to the number pad on the right, so having the translucent covers distort/ wash out the numbers is annoying. Overall I enjoy the keyboard, I like the included 2.4ghz dongle, however I use the wireless Bluetooth currently, charging is easy via the usb c, which can keep it permanently wired to your computer if needed. The instructions are easy, if not intuitive, to change backlights or connection settings. Overall for $50 it's a very good competitor to the name brand keyboards. ... show more
