Unit was a snap to assemble. If you’ve put together any Ikea cabinets, you’ll find it a breeze too as it uses the same style fasteners. Biggest dilemma is getting the doors to click into their hinges. With 2 of us, it took a little over an hour to complete. Some tips: - Watch the you tube video for YORK fireplace media unit assembly all the way through once before assembling. It will give you the context that is hard to understand from the instructions. Only 6 minutes and we’ll worth it. - The light bulb icon on the remote switches the colors of the flames - there are 3 possibilities. - When removing the glass from the firebox, as one other reviewer noted, there are 6 screws: 2 on either side and one on either side of the top. (Watch the You tube video if you need help locating the top two.) Highly recommended. ... show more

The doors don't close unless you loosen the brackets so you can adjust everytime you lose it. The led lights work when they want to. Checked all the connections and it checked out. The fire place is amazing and the led work great. The free installation was a great help.
