Depending on what you need this for it may or may not work. It’s not fully opaque and is very fragile, as in it snag and pulls extremely easily. And not in a high-end way. The weaving of the satin is not tight so it easily snags and doesn’t recover well. I intended to make bonnets, scrunchies, and robes out of it and it simply won’t do. Looks great from afar but you really can’t touch it. I had to refund my customer since I wouldn’t make my deadline with the fabric not working. On the optimistic side, it would work better for drapery, staging, or set design where it won’t be touched frequently, if at all. Also please keep in mind that it doesn’t do well with heat. It melts and permanently wrinkles under low heat so use caution. You kinda have to live with the wrinkles. Use sharp needles when sewing. Trust me. It makes a difference. ... show more
