I purchased this case in July and I thought it was fine, it fit the screen well and I didn’t encounter any major issues. However in November I opened my computer up and noticed the lcd panel was broken and the computer was never dropped and always handed very carefully. This was a work laptop for the university I work for and when I met with the IT department they said that the plastic prongs depressed the screen breaking the lcd panel. They said that Dells screens are made of plastic so you can never use a hard plastic case for these computers unlike Apple and other brands that use metal or glass. If you have a Dell laptop I recommend not buying this case as it can cost you replacing the entire screen. ... show more

This case worked exactly what I needed it for. Love the fact that it has little footies to the computer is not flat. Unfortunately, it did not take long for the footies to break and become "limp", however it is still useable. Love that I can decorate my case with stickers for patients to see! I get so many compliments on it and have had many other people in the office purchase the case! I would not count it necessarily as "protective", for I do no believe it would save my laptop if dropped. ... show more
