It took my husband less than 30 mins to assemble with a drill and a little assistance from me. Some holes aren't predrilled so you just need to line things up right, so a helper is ideal. It's light weight and the wood is kind of soft. Mine is on a covered deck and will be used to overwinter my Aloe and succulents and also to get a head start on Spring seedlings. I’ve had this item for a little over two months and I love it! Easy to assemble (and I merely glanced at instructions) and for the price, quality is as expected. Does that mean poor quality? Not at all! Just keep your expectations realistic for this price point. I keep mine outside underneath my roof line overhang and it’s perfect for my needs. I would not recommend it being out in the rain on a regular basis as it is not pressure treated or water proof. But it keeps my plants safe from the cold and still able to enjoy sunlight if I am unable to open it up. On very cold nights (35 or lower) I throw a clear tarp over it for added layer of protection to my plants while still allowing in light, and they are doing every bit as well as they do in the summer months. This was very disappointing for the high price. The pieces are not precisely measured, especially with the top being on an angle. If you attach the doors flush with the side of the frame, there is a gap between them. I would not buy this again.

As the greenhouse (or really plant cabinet as I have been thinking of it) is quite small, the temperature varies quite a bit inside. Its probably a lot better if you have this sitting on soil or against something that functions as a thermal barrier. On my roof, it still gets down to freezing at night (temps have been in the low 30s to upper 40s), but the temps skyrocket in the sun. Its OK for extending the season a bit but its not the same as a larger greenhouse would be. So for me: I still need to adjust the vent at least twice daily and I can't really trust to leave an frost-senstive plants inside. I'm still happy with this though, its going to improve my harvests and give me a head start on several types of veggies. ... show more

Overall a great product and experience. For the price, the quality is there. I assembled this by myself in 1 1/2 hours with only a phillips head screwdriver. It really requires 2 people to get this started, as in the beginning I needed to hold a panel between my knees in order to attach it. Once the first few panels were secured, it was easier to maneuver and complete. The non-verbal instructions were clear, but this does require you to attach screws without pilot holes in the second attachment - you need to eyeball where the edge is flush and hope it ends up plum. Got this to house some peppers we are growing. Being near the mid-Atlantic coast it needed to protect them from storms, alternating freezing/hot days, etc... but still function well and look nice. The structure was easy for one person to assemble, has a pleasant cedar odor, and relatively sturdy to move when empty. Shelves are also easy to adjust and keeping supplies/water jugs/etc there. I bought this for my Venus Fly Traps that need a 5-6 month period of dormancy in temperatures no higher than 55 degrees. This cold trap looks adorable but it's not constructed to withstand rain and extended periods of fluctuating freeze/thaw periods. The assembly instructions are simple and easy to follow, as long as you know in advance that you will need a drill to screw the parts together: there are pre-drilled holes in parts that need to be screwed into the frame (The item description says all necessary tools are included). Getting the first back panel screwed onto the frame is the tricky part. An extra pair of hands is highly recommended. After that, it's a breeze. I'm going to apply multiple coats of sealant and see how it goes, but I don't think it will hold up for more than a couple of years. For about a hundred bucks more, I could have hired a handyman to make one out of cedar or redwood. ... show more

Use this product for My succulents it was very very easy to assemble instructions are very simple wood may be a bit cheap I don’t believe that it’s made for rain I do believe it may mold but only time will tell I may bring it in.
