First of all, I must say that I am ENTIRELY impressed with just how quickly this satchel arrived. I ordered this satchel for University all the way from Australia on February the 10th with standard shipping, and was given an estimated delivery time of 2-3 weeks. Well, yesterday my satchel arrived, and the date was only the 18th of February. The bag is VERY roomy, and I can't believe other reviewers have claimed it to be too small which made me worry when I ordered the bag. To me, the satchel is actually far larger than it appears in the pictures and I actually wish it was just a little bit smaller. I am rather small in size (168 cm and petite) and the bag kind of makes me look like a 6 year-old kid on their first day of school with an oversized backpack. The size is the only thing I really dislike about the bag, though, and I'm sure this won't really be a big issue for other people. The second issue I have is that the bag is rather heavy, though with the size and type of material this is to be expected. For me it's a bit too heavy for my liking but I'm not exactly the strongest person ever, and my father had no problem at all lifting the bag. Aside from these downfalls, the rest of the bag is great. It's a nice quality leather and appears slightly darker than the bag in the picture (I purchased the brown satchel), though for me this isn't an issue. The bag has a great amount of pockets and holders, including a specialised laptop holder, tablet holder, phone holder, pen holders along with other little holder for other objects such as wallets and slots for credit cards and such. Along with these, it also has room for books, documents etc. When testing the bag to see how well it fit all my objects, I was pleasantly surprised. In it I was able to easily fit my 15 inch Asus laptop (which will be replaced with a much lighter 13 inch MacBook Pro), a pocket umbrella, a thick A4 sized multi-subject book, my rather large Psychology textbook, a small pencil case, a tube of pawpaw ointment, deodorant, my iPhone, large wallet/clutch, glasses case, an A7 pocket diary (though I am sure I could easily fit up to an A5 size), and a tin of pencils. Even while fitting in all these objects, there was still room for other odds and ends. (I imagine some people who are looking at this bag for business or general use purposes may not require as many things, so I am adding this description to show just how large this bag actually is). Below I have attached a picture of everything I have fit inside the bag as a size reference. Please note that I used my iPhone to take the picture so you will not see it in the bag, and my pencil case is located next to the textbook but cannot be seen because it is sitting in the lower part of the bag [...] Overall, I am happy with this bag, and I think it is well worth the money compared to other models out there that are twice the price with half as much room. If you're a University student who wants to be able to fit all the necessities in one bag rather than having to carry around multiples, then this is the bag for you.

It's really big outside and not so roomy inside - internal space is not exactly well-planned. I'd say the layout is poor. I was hardly able to squeeze all my stuff from the old case into this and it was a mess. While my old case looks much smaller than that. Other than that, it's nice. Laptop section offers good protection.

I bought this for my husband, and it is perfect for organizing and transporting his business documents. The computer section is just the size of his MacBook Air. He loves it, but a few weeks ago the handle broke. I don't expect a leather attache case to break after only a couple years when I paid as much as I did.

Do not buy this bag. After purchasing it and before receiving it, I read more reviews and regretted buying it. I learned that the straps have to be buckled for you to pick it up because both the handle and shoulder strap are on the flap of the bag. Despite finding this out and having read reviews that the buckles break easily, I decided I would give it a try. I received it the next day and the buckle was already broken. Turns out the leather piece is just glued into the metal buckle and one of mine had already come out. I was planning to use this bag to carry heavy files so there was no way it would have lasted and I'm glad it was broken now so I can take it back. Also, I thought it would be more spacious because its so wide but there are multiple dividers that take up a lot of space. So if you are looking for a bag that is spacious, can hold some weight or will last many years, this is not the bag for you.

Today after slightly more than 2 months of use one of the fasteners on the carry handle detached from its mount. The mount is two small bolts and the back plate is sandwiched between two layers of leather so there is no easy way to perform a DIY repair. This should not happen given my light use of the bag. Overall the quality of the bag's metal components is not what it should be. They are clearly an inferior, malleable metal as you can readily observe by how easily their surfaces are marred. This was an obvious cost-cutting measure and given the retail price of this bag it is not justifiable. I would not purchase this bag again or recommend it to others.

This is a great product. I looked forever to find just the right briefcase- and am so glad I got this one. It is such high quality. It looks even better than the pictures show. It even smells good. I also like that it stands up on its own. And it has a lot of separate compartments for organization. There is a padded laptop compartment too. If you're looking for a briefcase to impress, just buy this one- you'll be glad you did.

Was great for about a year then the handle broke off. Can't access the screw in the handle without cutting the inside open. Stopped using it and replaced with a different leather briefcase.

This bag met every expectation I had. For the price, I cant imagine a better purchase. One note for those who are picky. You can notice that the strap attaches to the top of the "lid" so all of the weight of the bag when carrying is on the latches that hold the lid closed. I'm worried that these could eventually break, but they seem pretty solid.
