I was a little reluctant to buy a bulk body wash/shampoo and thought that the quality might be subpar. (I usally don't cheap out on sundries, but I was curious) However, this is a really good product. Smell can be subjective, sure, and I can see how some people might think that the Cucumber Melon may smell somewhat artificial. The smell is very cucumber forward. However, the after-shower smell is very very nice and refreshing. The soap is thinner than some more expensive brands, but this is likely due to the addition of the aloe to the formula. The soap is not slimy; it's more silky than anything. It cleans very very well. My wife and I both enjoy it very much. She is a very fair and has sensitive skin. She feels great all day long and has not experienced any irritation whatsoever. It does a great job removing oil from your skin. Also, it does not leave your hair feeling dry after you've shampooed. I have thin-type hair and a lot of it. I did not feel the need for conditioner. If you use a poof to shower, you will really like this product. Using a poof produces a nice lather that is not too thick to wash away completely. The soap rinses away nicely and leaves you feeling very clean and refreshed. I'm surprised at the quality of this product. Great value and great product. It is clearly not super-premium body wash, but for daily use I do not see how anyone could need anything better than this product. I bought 1 gallon pump and put the entire jug in the shower. It is a good, sensible product. I'll be buying more. There's no reason not to save money with this product. If you want a more subtle cucumber smell for the "during shower" use, this product may not be for you. They make other fragrances. I will try those too.

I purchased this product (McKesson body wash) Summer rain scent. Wonderful! Leaves skin soft without any residue. Having sensitive skin I was surprised that I did NOT have any reaction, awesome product. We have a swimming pond and lots of little ones to clean up afterwards, very economical and again no skin reactions. I will order this again and highly recommend to all. Dee

I ordered 2 gallons of this but when i stuck it on a shelf in my small cabin, some chemical in it was leeching thru the bottle & starting giving me a burning sensation in my throat & my eyes got itchy. I had to remove them from my living space & wouldn't even try it out. The scent isn't very pleasing either, a bit too feminine for me & not at all subtle on their blue stuff. The price looked great but should have tried a smaller size 1st. I feel bad tho that I had to return them, 2 gallons probably cost them a bit to send & return but they cheerfully took them back so for that, 3 stars but otherwise if you're chemically sensitive, might wanna try a smaller size 1st or something else, I don't know if I'm chemically sensitive but this soap gave me an unpleasant reaction.
