I bought a B-16 in 1979 and absolutely lived by it. It was lost to a theft a few years ago and I looked for a replacement but they were all thousands of dollars. When I saw this advertised, I bought it because it looked very close to my old one. First cue came warped. Company tried to convince me it was typical during shipment and to let it acclimate. I've been playing pool for over 35 years and knew this wasn't the case. Got replacement. Joint isn't perfectly flush but it's a $100 cue so I suppose that should be expected. Ferrule cracked lengthwise after couple months (used less than 10x). This is a very nice cue stick. I think it looks just as nice as the much more expensive cues with just as good performance and craftsmanship. It has a nice solid feel to it and a decent tip. I'm proud to tell people that I own a McDermott cue.
