I’m not sure what this mat is made of, but it works and it’s awesome! I needed a larger mat that could cover an area of my countertop next to the sink that has a permanent stain on it. Most of the mats were wider, but the depth stayed the same. This was the right size. Anything that we put on the mat, dishes, glassware cutlery, dries very quickly. The mat is super thin and completely flat so glasses and bottles stay upright (other mats they would fall over). It seems to have a coating on the bottom so moisture doesn’t get through but every other day or so. I just pick the mat up & turn it upside down for a little while to make sure it’s dry so there’s no mold and I wipe down the counter. I love that it came as a pack of two, not sure how long it will last, but it’s nice to have a backup. So very happy with this drying mat! Any crumbs, etc that get on it brush right off. ... show more

I really like the mats. They are very thin but absorbent. They are not something that needs to be put away after use because they look really nice. So much nicer and very thin, clean look compared to other types of mats. They dry fast except when washed in a washer. It takes overnight to air dry. I am a bit concerned about potential unraveling after cutting a bit to fit. Hexclad info says it won’t. I will give them a 5 believing what they promise. ... show more

Look great on the counter. Even though they say it can hold a lot of water, it's not very absorbant. Water just seems to stay on the dishes. Still happy with the product though.

    • Quality and attractive product
This mat works well on my black countertop. It is made of a fabric that will allow it to be cut to size. It doesn't pick up lint or it hasn't shown signs of wear. I have not yet washed it to see how it holds up but instructions indicate machine washable on a gentle cycle.

These are awesome! Wash well in washer and I hang to dry. Very absorbent without being a thick germy fabric one. Looks better too.
