  • Great pool cue for the price
I got this pool cue about two months ago and was very pleased at the quality based on the price. The people I play with have also tried my cue and now most of them are using it. The only thing I would have liked would have been a grip but even without the grip it doesn't slip from the hand you are shooting with while maintaining a very smooth second half for your supporting hand, so much so that I don't have to powder my hand anymore. ... show more

  • Gorgeous cue!
I'm brand new to playing pool, but my husband, who's enjoyed playing for about ten years, went and bought a pool table for our basement last week. The table was from the 70s and all of the wooden cues that came with it were warped, so he told me to go ahead and buy a new cue. I saw this one and thought it looked interesting. My husband recommended the 19 weight since it's got enough heft behind it to get some power into the ball, but it's not so heavy as to be unwieldy. I got the cue in the mail yesterday and played a few rounds with it and it's beautiful! It's the closest I've come to beating my husband yet. The upper part of the shaft is plain maple and it's nice because it doesn't stick to your hand like my husband's fiberglass cue does. The lower half is that lovely deep green color and it looks so nice! I love Irish-themed things, so I love that it has a little four-leaf clover that says Lucky underneath it in small letters right below the break. Overall, I'd say this is a great cue for under $50! Very good for beginners, and my more experienced husband thinks it's nice too. I've now had the cue for 2 years and it's still perfectly straight and smooth with no problems whatsoever. ... show more

  • Solid cue, excellent customer service
I was most excited to receive my L3 McDermott Lucky cue, a product I carefully selected based on exhaustive research. Although there was some mild warping (likely caused by temperature fluctuations due to winter shipping), the folks at BumperNets were responsive and helpful.

  • Great quality. Wonderful color
Great quality sticks especially for teens just wanting to have their own for a rec room that has crappy sticks. I didn't want to pay a fortune but wanted a nice stick for them at school. This works perfect and has wonderful construction and materials it should last a long time

  • Makes a great bar cue
I keep this at the local bar for when im there. Works great. weigh feels good. I'm no pro but not having to use the bar cues make a big difference.

  • Great deal on a decent cue stick.
As has been said this is a good cue for beginners or to keep at the bar. To upgrade a better shaft can be bought and then you will have a very nice cue. It's well made and looks good, but don't break with it or it won't last long.

  • better than expected
i've used it a few times and went beyond my expectations. The quality of the stick is superb based on the how much it costs.
