  • Affordable driver that performs better than expected
I picked up this driver after trying a few other clubs from the same brand and it has quickly become my main option off the tee. For the price it feels approachable for newer players while still being fun and effective for more experienced golfers. I have taken it to the range several times and also tested it on indoor simulators. It has held up very well through repeated sessions. The club head feels solid and stable through the swing and I have been getting consistent contact. On good strikes I have seen drives pushing past the 260 yard mark which has been impressive considering the cost. The head size inspires confidence and makes it easier to control direction especially on off center hits. It feels forgiving without being bulky and the balance during the swing feels natural. Adjusting to it did not take long and it quickly became the first club I reach for when teeing up. One thing that surprised me was how much interest it sparked from other golfers. My brother who plays a higher end branded set actually asked to buy this club from me after trying it because he liked how it performed. That says a lot considering what he usually plays with. The included head cover is a nice addition and is well padded with a soft lining inside. It protects the club well though I may eventually swap it out since I prefer a simpler look in my bag. Still it does its job and feels well made. This driver has been a lot of fun to use and has performed reliably session after session. For anyone looking for a cost effective driver that delivers solid distance and good control this driver is worth checking out. ... show more

  • More Forgiving Than Expected — Especially for the Price
Hand Orientation: Right Shaft Material: Graphite (A12 Head) Flex: Regular Loft: 9.5 Degrees
I took this driver to the driving range with a friend who is a much more experienced golfer and uses a very expensive premium driver. Honestly, I came away more impressed with this club than I expected. For an intermediate golfer like myself, this driver actually felt more forgiving. Off-center hits still traveled well, and I found it easier to make consistently decent contact. Distance was also surprisingly comparable for me to the far more expensive club. I’m sure a highly skilled golfer may still benefit from the fine-tuning, shaft options, and precision of a top-tier driver, but for someone at my level, this honestly feels like the better overall value. The performance-to-cost ratio is excellent. The club inspires confidence at address, feels solid through the swing, and gave me consistent results without requiring a perfect strike every time. That forgiveness matters a lot more to most recreational golfers than squeezing out a few extra theoretical yards under ideal conditions. Overall, I think this is a great option for intermediate and casual golfers who want solid performance without spending a small fortune on equipment. It came with a nice cover, too. ... show more

  • Great quality for the price!
I took on golf this past year and most of my clubs are thrifted but I decided to buy a cheaper driver since driver is a crucial part of the game. I came across this one and thought I would give it a try and I am glad I did. And it has been such a blast to use. It’s comfortable and easy to handle, performs very well for an affordable driver, and overall I am more than satisfied with the quality. If you’re looking for something to get started in your golf journey like I was, this is 100% a great club to start with! And I love the way they give you options on size. ... show more

  • Fairly good starter club/driver for the new golfer ......
For the current price of $75.80 (coupon offer price of &72.01) this is a decent driver. The grip/shaft and head provides a new golfer a nice base driver to learn the game without making a hefty investment. I do not recommend this club for an experienced player. Well suited for a person over the height of 5'-7". This would also be a good driver to cut down and re-grip for a youth golfer. The flex shaft still has enough stiffness for stiffness performance. ... show more

  • An adequate driver, but it does not outdrive my 1990s era go-to driver.
Over the past few years, my son has been getting me back into the game of golf. My clubs, including my driver, date back to the 1990s. It's a good set, but who can't always use a newer, better driver. It was with this idea in mind that I requested this club to review. My go-to driver for many years is a nice, though now dated, Head driver. It was my benchmark for rating this new driver. OK, here we go: 1) I really like the way the Mazel driver feels in my hands. It is well-balanced, and I like the standard flex in the shaft. This is better than a stiff shaft for me, since I've never been a power hitter. 2) I like the grip. 3) I like the look. 4) I don't care for the design of the head, mainly the shape of the base of the head. The Mazel driver head is significantly convex, while I prefer a flatter base. The Mazel marketing information claims a larger sweet spot with this design, but it didn't FEEL this way to me. OK, but what about performance? The bottom line here is that this new Mazel driver does not outdrive my 1990s-vintage Head driver. In fact, on most of my well-hit drives, the Mazel came in around 10 yards shorter than drives with the Head. In short, this is an adequate driver, but not a great one. And it did not make all my driver-related dreams come true, or really any of them. I do not plan to add this club to my bag. 3 stars for an adequate product. ... show more

  • Great driver to learn on.
Hand Orientation: Right Shaft Material: Graphite (A12 Head) Flex: Regular Loft: 9.5 Degrees
Great for what it is. It's a decent driver meant for beginners. Instead of getting a 20 year old beater with a name brand on it, you can get this. Somewhat modern tech that is perfect for someone learning the game. It's an aluminum driver, so don't expect too much. But, you can get a decent shot to go straight over 200 yards. I've smashed some balls and the face still looks fine so durability doesn't seem like an issue. Overall, it's a decent value club for someone to learn on. ... show more
