I bought vertical slats - I needed horizontal slats...BUT these were decent for the price. I think I would rather splurge on one that is completely covered in fabric because they do move around quite a bit.

Looks like it is going to work just fine, an efficient and less expensive alternative to other bed support system like box springs. It was hard to place the mattress because I was on my own and I couldn’t carry it so the boards moved a bit, I had to go under the bed to re-accommodate them.     • Comfortable and worth it.
We had an antique bed that had some springs that were too high. We bought this to bring it down and it works great for the foam mattress. It's comfortable and I would do it again.

This item has given me great nights of sleep. Before I got the vertical slats I would sometimes sit or roll to a certain spot and the bed would collapse. This solved the problem right away.

I returned this item. I needed support for a box springs. The cheap boards are badly stapled very far apart. Don't waste your time or money. I can say they were precisely the correct length and width.

My only complaint is that I've noticed the slats slide a bit if you put pressure right at the edge of the mattress, like sitting on the edge. It's not an issue and we haven't fallen through or anything like that, and for the price were absolutely willing to just keep an eye out and shift the slats back, but just a heads up to folkx to keep an eye on those edge pieces! ... show more
