You almost have to do it in layers because it's so big, but it's fun and the finished product is worth the wait. Very easy to use, very easy to demoed. The plastic helps keep it's shape so it comes out perfect.

Worked flawlessly for around 15 pours then the silicone started to become porous and mechanically bonded to the resin and took off chunks of the mold's smooth surface. Was hoping to find replacement silicone inserts since the plastic frame is still in perfect condition. These have a thicker silicone layer compared to the other molds I've tried. Maybe using a release agent would have prolonged its lifespan. I'm relatively new to resin crafting so it's likely user error. I did use a dry teflon lubricant spray film on the outside of the mold and inside surface of the frame which lets the mold slide perfectly in and out of the plastic. Just wasn't sure how it would affect the resin if used as a mold release.

I’m really trying to like this product. It is the perfect size and I have one that is excellent. However, the first one I bought the frame was broken. The second worked nice but the silicone ripped so I just kept the first and used the silicone from that and it has worked perfect the whole time. I then bought a third so I could make multiple pyramids at once and I’m half way through pouring it and it’s no where near straight edges, it’s completely off center and won’t stay down in the mold so the edges are curved. I think I’ll be returning it and trying a different brand. It’s not awful but just the third attempt and I’m just getting frustrated now. Others have had good results so could just be a few bad ones. I really just wish there was an option for a replacement silicone piece.
