The 4 casters sent seemed well made but were a bit too large to fit the existing hole in the Shop Vac(which was missing a leg).....I actually broke one trying to insert......will need to drill out the existing hole slightly and then I think they should work...

Prior to ordering these I was very careful to be certain that the insert matched what I had. I incorrectly believed that the wheels would be the same size since I was replacing the wheels on my 12 gallon Ridgid Wet Dry Vac. WRONG. The wheels are smaller. Everything about these wheels was good for my Shopvac 6 gallon vacuum except the stems weren't 5/16" for the full length. Which means that when you pick the vacuum up, the wheels drop about a half inch. Not a big deal- sort of a shock absorber. Other than that, it is a great replacement wheel.
