My guy has to wear a muzzle because he’s reactive. We’ve gone through tons of training but have just accepted that he is who he is and isn’t a huge fan of other dogs while on leash. Previously, he was wearing a Baskerville, but all of my attempts to modify that muzzle to better fit were a fail. He was experiencing some rubbing that led to wounds on his snout. We’ve tried so many options, but nothing worked. I put this one on him and he immediately wagged his tail. He was so happy and felt so much more at ease with this material. It’s thick enough to provide protection, but comfy. We went a size up to give him extra panting space since he wears it anytime he’s outside. Will update more after a few months of wear, but so far we are very happy.

Was able to adjust to my Labradane's wide head, long muzzle. Had to trim off excess strap for the over ear strap. Easy to get on and off, and she can sniff and pant with ease. Material is very stiff, but has not caused any rubs or chafing.

This is very well made leather muzzel. It was very easy to adjust and simple to install fitting to size. It has provided good bite protection for my other dog. The price is very fair based on the quality of this item. The muzzel allows the dog to easily breath, pant, and drink water through the muzzel. This is critical to keep. the dog from over heating aand possibly DYING. This BREED MUST BE ABLE TO FREELY PANT and DRINK. This muzzel allows this to occur. BEWARE some of the muzzels that are available on Amazon,DO NOT MAKE A PROVISION FOR THIS IMPORTANT NEED.

Our Sharpei is absolutely not happy having to go the vet (terrible experience with one when she was a puppy and how badly they treated her ear infection), which makes her defensive and they can get near her so I have to muzzle her. We went through 4–5 different types of muzzles that either came off or just didn’t stay on by rubbing her face against the corner and were all just useless. This muzzle we trained her with a few times before our next veterinary visit and she was perfectly fine with it. During the appointment, the muzzle never came off although she really tried hard to get herself free from it so yes 100% recommended.

We’ve owned for two months for our 80lb American Bulldog. Durable, easy to clean and despite her best effort our dog can’t slide it off. It’s adjustable, around the neck as well as distance between collar portion across bridge of the nose. The plastic clasp is easy for an adult to pinch on and off - our 4 year old son can’t figure out how to get it off.
