So am comparing this to the the BEST mascara for Falsie effect so far is the Essence Lash Princess. THE closest to false lashes without actually being false lashes. I had extensions at one time done professionally and w/the Essence I have been asked if I got them back on. that's how good it is. I am comparing this one to the Essence one. ALMOST the same! so for a washable option this is great. Essence is harder to remove b/c its sort of a "fiber" type. This has a comb type as a wand vs a brush and I thought that would mean not a lot of payoff for the product but was pleasantly surprised. I had to do about 4 coats, though to get the effect to build. It DOES give length for sure but for volume also, def need more coats than usual. However, those coats are super easy to apply, does NOT clump at all so its actually nice to have a building effect b/c one has the option of going casual to a bit more dramatic w/just one product. again SUPER easy to apply. While it says its NOT waterproof, I went ahead and dropped just a little bit of water on lashes to see and it was fine. So i don't think a little humidity or perspiration should be an issue. I will say, though it took much longer to dry compared to what I am used to. I did comparison and side by side it looks almost identical to the Essence but is NOT as thick. so lacking just a bit in volume. but still a great product. the comb wand also helps to separate while applying so that is really nice for bottom lashes!

pros: not super clumpy cons:flakes a ton and lash loss the lash loss could be because i’ve worn mascara more often lately but i wore this 3 times and have a bit of a bald spot verses when i wore my other mascara multiple times and nothing happened. i’m sad i don’t like this mascara cause i was really excited for it but that’s what happens when you trust tiktok

I am in love with this mascara! At 53 years of age, I have struggled to find the perfect mascara wand for as long as I can remember. I'm not blessed with a lot of lashes, nor are they long. This often means that I fight to apply the mascara without having the product leave huge splotches of mascara on my eyelids. I also struggle to stop my lashes from clumping together with many different brands because of the wand. A curved wand leaves me with extra splotches of mascara near the curved ends, yet surprisingly little mascara applied to the middle of my lashes. I actually purchased this product by mistake during a rushed trip to the store two months ago right before a friends wedding - I had forgotten my regular 'go to brand' when I packed for the trip, and had to run out and get something in a hurry. Unfortunately (depending on how I look at it now) they didn't have the MaxFactor 3000 calorie mascara in ANY form. So I grabbed this tube thinking that it was a "Two in One" brand because of the packaging. It isn't a two in one product at all. I was actually peeved when I opened it up and saw the sad stick like wand instead of a brush type wand. At this point however, I had a wedding to attend and gave it a try. Holy cow was I REALLY surprised! Not only did it separate every single lash, but it coated them in a much cleaner and unclumped way than any other product I have ever tried! It also goes on in a drier form (over a wet sticky mess that leaves mascara on my top eyelid as soon as I either look up to do my bottom lashes, or work on my other eye. The wet sticky blobs happen so often that I've gotten in the habit of always putting on the first coat on only my top lashes for both eyes, and I turn to my lower lashes. This little teeny stick brush is so precise, that applying mascara to my almost nonexistent lower lashes turned into a welcomed experience over a "have a Q-Tip" ready to mop up the blobs. I like this mascara so much, that I literally just ordered four new tubes to last me (unopened) for a little while - just in case they decide to stop making this particular product. I also have issues trying to find the 'Black/Brown" color for my lighter hair and skin as well -- I'm happy in knowing that I'll at least have a year or more lined up.
