I loved this lipstick, the Exhilarator color is a vibrant red that really stands out and makes the makeup look spectacular. I don’t wear heavy make up. I saw this advertised and tried it. I’m old school and am simply amazed by how long this lasts. After initial application it doesn’t feel sticky. Most importantly, it is long wearing and looks great, even after a 5k or exercise class. If you don’t want to worry about refreshing and need to look nice for 6+ hours, this is it. It’ll still be on in am but washes off when ready.

I'm giving it 5 stars for the moment as I'm putting it through a wear test at the office today. I have this in both Hustler and Pioneer. I found Hustler to be the perfect deep red for my complexion and hair color, and Pioneer is a close second. I am on the quest for a red lipstick that doesn't feather out around my lips and doesn't grow patchy before lunch. Early observation: Takes a hot minute to dry to down. You may THINK it's dried down, close your mouth, only to find your lips are stuck together. That didn't pull any of the color apart though, it's still a gorgeous color. It does feel dry, but IME that's just how matte lipsticks are. I'm afraid if I throw a gloss over the top of it, it will melt it off my lips and it will be feather or smear. So far so good though. Update 2: Wearing it this morning to work. It's much less sticky, drying, and heavy feeling if you use a light hand in application. You don't need a whole wad of it to get the coverage and color payoff.

I have many colors from this line. I got all of them from Amazon because of sale prices. Most colors are smooth and not patchy. New packaging is super cute and easy to open Vs the older difficult to open lipsticks. They are sticky and you feel them on the lips vs maybelline vinyle liquid shiny lipsticks! But they last forever eating drinking sleeping. They can be used as a tint and natural lip color if you use your fingers and just using dabbing motion. Online pictures and tube color doesn’t truly describe actual color of the lipstick, so I suggest looking at pictures and swatch posted by people! Smell is pleasant. On sale you get more for your money, these don’t finish even with everyday use. Applicator is superb for outlining specially for smaller lips.

I am really hooked on this lipstick! It's very long wearing and it's super gentle on my lips. I've tried long wear lipstick in the past and found that it dried my lips out too much and irritated them, like it sucked the moisture out of my lips. This doesn't do that at all! They feel very comfortable underneath, no itching, and don't feel dry when I take it off at the end of the day. It has a really pretty matte sheen, and I like the scent, kind of vanilla. Let me address some common complaints among other reviewers and why I think they're wrong. First off, it is really easy to take off if you know what you're doing. Oil takes this stuff off quite easily, so do some makeup wipes. Most lip balms will take it off as well. For example, I use laneige lip balm at night and it takes it off just fine. Put some on, rub your lips together, and then wipe off with a tissue. Neutrogena makeup wipes also take it off. Secondly, I do agree that this product is very sticky. I have found that I can put my Mac lipglass on over top and now it's not sticky anymore! Also the gloss gives it a nice sheen or glitter depending on what shade of gloss. And most importantly, Mac lipglass does not take it off, yay! Third, because oil takes it off, depending on what you had to eat, it will or won't survive your meal. So some people say they had really good luck with it lasting all day, and other people complaining that it's worn off after a few hours. I think it really depends on what you had to eat that day. If I have something light and non-greasy for lunch like sushi then my lipstick lasts the entire work day without needing a touch-up. If I have a lunch that's heavy on oil, like salad dressing or a lot of butter, then I have to reapply after I finish eating. But one touch up in the middle of the day to freshen up the center of your lips is no big deal! That still wayyyyy beats any kind of conventional lipstick. Fourth, your lips need to be totally clean and oil free before you apply. And this stuff takes about a minute to set. So if you're putting it on, say, on top of lip balm, it isn't going to be long wear lipstick. Likewise, let it set well before you go off for the day. If I get lipstick on my teeth, it's usually during this period where it hasn't set yet. If that happens, I just wait until it is set, and then wipe it off my teeth with a Kleenex. Not a big deal at all! Now on to the colors... I am extremely fair skinned (usually the lightest color in any foundation brand), blue eyes, cool undertone, and brown/ reddish hair. On me, I really like the way dreamer and lover look. Very flattering and works well if you have cool undertones in your skin. I like poet, but it's almost a little too orange/ coral for my skin tone. I agree with other reviewers that seductress doesn't look at all like the photos online. That shade is way more brown in person. Like a '90s brown... I'll probably wear it some, but definitely not the most flattering for cool toned skin. I definitely plan on buying another color or two. At this price point, it's pretty easy to experiment. Do yourself a favor and give it a try!

I picked color 500 “Insider”. I don’t wear makeup usually but I wanted some lip color and protection during these very hot, arid days of summer here in the Sonoran Desert. I love this with my skin tone. It feels great on the lips, and is long lasting. I docked a point bc it’s quite sticky on the lips, and at least on my skin I have to reapply every 4 hours or so. But I’m not going to complain too much! I’ll be back for more shades.
