I am really hooked on this lipstick! It's very long wearing and it's super gentle on my lips. I've tried long wear lipstick in the past and found that it dried my lips out too much and irritated them, like it sucked the moisture out of my lips. This doesn't do that at all! They feel very comfortable underneath, no itching, and don't feel dry when I take it off at the end of the day. It has a really pretty matte sheen, and I like the scent, kind of vanilla. Let me address some common complaints among other reviewers and why I think they're wrong. First off, it is really easy to take off if you know what you're doing. Oil takes this stuff off quite easily, so do some makeup wipes. Most lip balms will take it off as well. For example, I use laneige lip balm at night and it takes it off just fine. Put some on, rub your lips together, and then wipe off with a tissue. Neutrogena makeup wipes also take it off. Secondly, I do agree that this product is very sticky. I have found that I can put my Mac lipglass on over top and now it's not sticky anymore! Also the gloss gives it a nice sheen or glitter depending on what shade of gloss. And most importantly, Mac lipglass does not take it off, yay! Third, because oil takes it off, depending on what you had to eat, it will or won't survive your meal. So some people say they had really good luck with it lasting all day, and other people complaining that it's worn off after a few hours. I think it really depends on what you had to eat that day. If I have something light and non-greasy for lunch like sushi then my lipstick lasts the entire work day without needing a touch-up. If I have a lunch that's heavy on oil, like salad dressing or a lot of butter, then I have to reapply after I finish eating. But one touch up in the middle of the day to freshen up the center of your lips is no big deal! That still wayyyyy beats any kind of conventional lipstick. Fourth, your lips need to be totally clean and oil free before you apply. And this stuff takes about a minute to set. So if you're putting it on, say, on top of lip balm, it isn't going to be long wear lipstick. Likewise, let it set well before you go off for the day. If I get lipstick on my teeth, it's usually during this period where it hasn't set yet. If that happens, I just wait until it is set, and then wipe it off my teeth with a Kleenex. Not a big deal at all! Now on to the colors... I am extremely fair skinned (usually the lightest color in any foundation brand), blue eyes, cool undertone, and brown/ reddish hair. On me, I really like the way dreamer and lover look. Very flattering and works well if you have cool undertones in your skin. I like poet, but it's almost a little too orange/ coral for my skin tone. I agree with other reviewers that seductress doesn't look at all like the photos online. That shade is way more brown in person. Like a '90s brown... I'll probably wear it some, but definitely not the most flattering for cool toned skin. I definitely plan on buying another color or two. At this price point, it's pretty easy to experiment. One of the best black lipsticks I've ever used. The formula glides right on without issues and is buttery soft to spread across my lips. The color doesn't need to be applied numerous times to get the full color coverage. In just one or 2 swipes the color is pigmented and ready to go. It does need a few minutes to dry in order to bring out the matte look but I've worn it for over 12 hours without any cracking or needing to reapply. Once it is on, you don't have to worry and can go about your day. I don't feel like I'm eating the color over time like other lipsticks make me feel. A friend recommended this product to me and it was the best lipstick I’ve ever bought. It really does last and easy to apply. I do wish it was more shiny but for the fact of how well it works and the boldness of the color I’m more than satisfied. A little coconut oil to remove.

I’ve being wearing this everyday to work for two years, and it’s the best! Most days, it doesn’t budge. This lipstick does change color slightly after it dries, and it can come off if you eat something will oil or grease. I just check after lunch and reapply if needed. (Literally keep one in my makeup bag at home and another in my purse.) I also have other colors for other occasions. When I apply, I wipe the excess off half the applicator for the perfect amount—that makes it easier and more precise to apply. No smell—love that. It’s a liquid to dry/creamy texture, and the thickness can be adjusted. May get on your teeth soon after application, but it’s fine after drying! This really stays on wonderfully and is not irritating to my very sensitive lips. The color I received is disappointing, though. Instead of the bright berry I expected, it turned out to be a dull, slightly orangish red that looks like the old Wet and Wild lipstick. I should have sent it back.
