The brush came in fine in the packaging. I noticed the plastic was kind of weak but ok whatever. I put the brush inside the product (comes in separate), and after 1 day when I went to use the mascara, I pulled the brush out and it was all deformed! It’s impossible to apply because it’s curved at a weird angle. The product/brush must have come defective because this is my favorite mascara, I have been using it for years and this has never happened before. Just now I’m noticing the other reviews had the same problems :( I wish I read the reviews before I purchased. I will also add that the formula itself was kind of dry, so the product must have been old. Item can’t be returned or replaced so I’d say it was a BAD purchase. DO NOT BUY!! ... show more

I still have to use my lash curler, but this mascara is great for my lashes. They stay curled and maxed out longer than most other curling mascaras. It separates each lash to make them more noticeable, bigger, and longer. The cost is certainly better than some of the other mascaras out there. My only complaint is that there seems to not contain as much product. I run out faster than expected. This is a great alternative to Urban Decay Lash Freak which was discontinued. ... show more

I like the mascara but the brush is poorly made. As you can see in the photo, it is bent. This happened on the 2nd day of use. I’m now using a different wand with the product.

Im a big Maybelline fan but the brush on this one is simply useless. It's too soft to lift lashes and too short of bristles that clumping is hard to avoid. Switch the brush with any of your other Maybelline old mascara and you should be good :)
